"Come on, Skwisgaar, dats is a joke. I wouldn't keeps nothin' I gets for you for myselfs. Dat's selfish! And you needs to lighten up. I thinks dat you'll likes it if you gives it a chance."
He finished off his doughnut and coffee, before standing up. "Waits here, ja?" And with that, he was off down the hall once more, to go to his room. "I GETS YOU IT! I GOTS MORE FOR DE OTHER WEEKS TOO!" And with that trailing message, he rounded the corner.

This was possibly because he failed, and hard.
There was an almost smile as the other man went running off, shaking his head and getting more coffee.

He tilted his head, eying the box for a long moment, then he shrugged, just as meticulous about getting the wrap undone as he was with a lot of things, popping it apart at the tape, careful not to tear the paper.

He was willing to wait for Skwisgaar to unwrap the gift just as slowly as he wanted. And anyway, if he did this with all the gifts he got, Toki was more than happy to help out with the next one.
The box under the wrapping paper was non-descript in its blackness. the gift-box shape to it helped it be easier to just see the item showcased in velvety red. The scabbard was tooled leather and gold, with ancient Scandinavian designs inlaid into both, the hilt of the sword was typical of 4th century weaponry, two bronze horses rearing up served as the hand-guard, the grip was oak and well-worn, almost black from use and age, the butt of it had a circular design which echoed the horse theme ( ... )
