There was a sincerity to those words, some sort of Final Moment tone to it that may have leaked through. It sent chills through Toki, and some of the fire in his eyes dulled down to show how clearly upset he was by that.
This was a goodbye of sorts. He was intending to leave Mordhaus, go somewhere and hide forever a while.

He just arched a brow, "Why? Why's is I got to move? Huh? So's you can sleaks off in a middles of de night?" He hadn't raised his voice just yet, but it would get there without much more pushing.
