Haha, I typed that late at night - and of course I ment "a little less" - but of course you sensed that.
Personally I doubt that Koji is too much into it - he recently visited o concert of Jake Shimabukuro ^-^.
But with a young Pop-group (but perhaps in terms of Pop-groups D*Date probably is not even considered a very young group ^-^) the producers probably think it´s necessary to add rap - to attract the young(er) audience.

So, you can spot Vanilla Ichigo´s head-shaking trans-atlantic? Wow! ^-^.

"High tension" should really be translated as "excitement" or something like that, since in English, "high tension" would mean "suspense". Though the idea of Tomo being in suspense is pretty funny!

I'm glad they seem to enjoy recording for D-Radio. I sure wish I could listen to them live! Japan and its weirdness about letting foreigners listen to their radio! I wonder if there is some strange royalties stranglehold keeping them from having real internet radio.

It´s more than excitement, rather over-excitement on the verge of being annoying. I left it on purpose, because I avoid translating loanwords, unless it would be really necessary, but maybe a footnote is useful.

Yeah, I think a foot-note would be good, since the meanings are so different.

You know what´s funny? In German high tension means Hochspannung and that´s what we call someone who is totally over the edge aka in high spirits sometimes too, so in this case a literal German translation would be closer than English. Interesting.
