I think in the USA, we would say "condominium" or "condo" for マンション.

Kinda makes me wonder also who he saw. Maybe he will play store detective again to find out, and watch and not approach. LOL.

Well, kind of yes, this would surely shorten the description. *lol* But on the other side is condominium a legal term, and in Japan there aren´t legal terms nor legal requirement in this case. While in the US an apartment (アパート) could also be a condominium, in Japan it´s not. They rather differ here by the raised standard of living, therefore the unformal use of loanwords (aka Mansion).

Then hopefully it wasn´t just a visitor from his neighbor, or he could wait forever to see him again. Just, that must really have been a truly strange moment!

Oh, I learned quite a bit through this one and your conversation ^-^. Makes somehow want to live in Koji´s Manshon ^-^. I wouldn´t mind him staying either ^-^. Ehm, just the doppelgänger has to stay outside!!!
