[ Was this revenge? Perhaps. Their last encounter hadn't gone over very well at all. And things had started off so great too! His plan had run along smoothly, despite hitting a couple little snags but Jim Moriarty prided himself on being OH SO CHANGEABLE that he turned those little road bumps into promising opportunities. And said opportunities had somehow managed to blow up right in his face. Not literally of course. Perhaps if something had actually exploded, he wouldn't have felt quite so bad. But alas, no.
Sherlock Holmes and his loyal little guard dog, John Watson, had managed to escape him, leaving Moriarty with one bitching backache and a slight concussion. Good play gentlemen. Very nicely done. He'll had to take that kind of teamwork into consideration. Which was precisely the point to this whole new plan of his. It was much more sadistic. Far more personal. It took a bit of of more genius scheming to plot it all out but should this plan fail for whatever reason... well, it just wouldn't. This was a win-win scenario. Jim got positively overjoyed whenever the odds were stacked in his favor.
The game was already set and all he needed were his two other players. That was easy enough. Slip in a few narcotics here. A little bash to the head there. It was all just routine really. Sneaky, yes, but super effective AND THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERED. Brilliant or not, Jim was not above doing whatever it took to achieve his goals. He wasn't one to get his hands dirty either, so the task of collecting his precious game pieces was left up to his newest batch of hopefully more competent henchmen. There were strict orders of course. After their last run in at the warehouse, one of his game pieces had gotten injured. Poor John. Special care had to be taken with this one. Sherlock, however, stubborn man he was, getting away unscathed... IT WAS INFURIATING. The detective would require special attention. And Moriarty was all the willing to see that he got it. ]
Ohh,
this will do nicely~!
[ There was a very pleased look to his face. Unfortunately his guests wouldn't have been able to see it right now, but he's sure they'll like their new accommodations once they wake up. Jim waved in his two helpers to carry the two men in. ]
Mind the doctor, poor man is still recovering, so don't be too rough with him. Bind his wrists and set him down in that chair over there.
[ Johnny was easy to obtain. A little bit of Rophenol mixed into his pain medication, and he was out like a little light. The same drug method couldn't be used on the detective however, so more blunt force had to be used. Hopefully they didn't damage too many brain cells in that pretty little head of his. ]
Sherly goes on the bed. He'll have a nasty little headache when he comes too, so he should be laying down. Make sure he's tied to the headboard.
[ Once all the necessary preparations were made, Jim's two helpers were quickly shooed out of the room. He had stepped out as well. Not for further evil doing or anything, he was just hungry and had been eying up that restaurant just down the street. He's going to grab a quick dinner before this game begins. Can't be evil on an empty stomach. ]
