So what are the precautionary measures you've been taking? I've been reviewing the basics a bit, and I'm *ahem* trying to make time to read some Japanese magazine articles, but the summer doldrums are hard to ward off sometimes, and I feel utter and complete lack of motivation. I hear you on the lack of modivation, but as you said once you're back in Japan it will only get better. For me I have to resort to helping my friend with her intensive third year prep work and reading (very slowly) some short novels that I got last summer, but I repeat progress is sloooow. sigh. and I don't know when I'll be back in Japan.

Best of luck with your interviews! *sends good luck your way*

As for GMAT and GRE, if you have the money/time to take them, you might as well take them now if you know what you want to take them for. Then you won't have to restudy so intensely for the tests when you decide to go to grad school since the information you'll be tested on is still pretty recent.
