This Thanksgiving I found myself unlike those around me who are going home to their families for the holiday's I am still in Pittsburgh. A portion of my family coming to visit me (okay so we aren't family by blood but those who are making a 9 hour road trip to come visit you are family regardless). I'm more of a baker myself, which I haven't actually done in a long time. But I have to admit that what you listed above, getting the ingredients and timing just right is a lot of fun, especially when it turns out perfect.
