[ So. Butterflies. People getting chewed on, killed, and in the middle of it all, Robin is sitting in the plaza, reading calmly. Beside her is a small, but sturdy little cage and inside it... .... is a butterfly. A death butterfly, actually. The very same that people were warned not to keep as pets. Apparently Robin doesn't care for warnings ( Read more... )

[Striding swiftly through the plaza and leaving neatly bisectioned butterflies fluttering in the breeze behind him. Stops next to you and gives you a cursory once over-you're clearly not hurt, and you can handle yourself.

Quirking a brow at your caged Tease.]

Isn't Luffy the one who usually tries to keep pets?

Generally, but it was so cute, I couldn't help myself. [ Grinning, and spotting the massacred flutters in your wake. ] You're handling yourself well, as expected.

Teeth with wings, cute. [snort, and somewhat of a smirk, clearly stating 'Yeah, sounds about your style.']

[He's not even bleeding anywhere! :0 Glancing back at the mess of tattered wings, himself.] Eh. They're not that strong.

[ GASP!! Something is wrong in the world - Zoro /isn't/ bleeding? You're a FAKE you imposter! (ahem) She grins. Alas the poor wee butterfly will not last very long, but it's fascinating to study at the least. ]

These are but a nuisance in small numbers. I can certainly understand the problem they present in greater amount. Nothing that we certainly cannot handle.

[ They've fought worse, man. ]

[It's because Chopper's not here and Zoro's contrary like that, but one could see how it might appear to be indicative of the Apocalypse XD.

Absently]

Us, yeah. No problem. Guess there's a lot of people around this place who aren't fighters, though, huh.

[ Other indicators of the Apocalypse is an open, non trolly Robin, a Nami-nun vowing to a life of poverty, a Sanji that hates cooking and women, a vegetarian Luffy... the list is endless. ]

It seems several others have fallen victim to the creatures. I must admit, death by butterflies would be... hilariouscurious .... embarrassing.

Particularly for one such as you, no?

Che. Like that would ever happen. [...Possibly if he'd been asleep? :|a If his sixth sense for danger didn't kick in, maybe...]

[ And now Robin is looking thoughtful. ] ...

Perhaps less likely for you, yes. [ She does acknowledge that his sixth sense for danger is insanely high. ]

[Shooting you a deadpan look. Well, 'less likely for you' is probably the most he's going to get.

Then something occurs.]

...Oi, did we know any of the people who've died?

[He's having to use the collective 'we' a lot these days. :|a And naturally it's none of the Straw Hats themselves.]

[ Robin considers, and nods slowly. ]

I myself spoke with one of the victims, however briefly. Before he exploded of course. The boy had been looking to grow stronger.

I suppose it wasn't enough.

Oh. That sucks-...

[Somewhat disturbed look.]

Exploded?

[How do chomp-happy butterflies lead to explosion?]

Quite an unpleasant way to perish, I am sure, though I think it unlikely that he suffered for long.

Exploded. I believe the creatures nested inside of his stomach and made their own exit, to speak.

Rather messily, I hear.
