hello all,

I just got an email from "five star reviews" (http://www.fivestarreviews.com) asking me to be part of their holiday edition.

Is this for real? Has anyone ever heard of this?

I'm worried about fraud etc., etc.

Any comments/knowledge/information would be grrrreatly

It's a paid review site. It's for real, but from what I've seen, not many people have had much success with it. They contacted me last year and I declined because it was out of my price range ($150 for the feature, if I remember correctly).

They do have great writers, and their reviews are really well done. If you want a nice feature to put on your press page, I'd say it's worth it for that, but from what I've gathered, their site doesn't generate much saleswise or traffic wise. Those two threads give a lot of insight - I hope they help!

I'm not paying for press :).

Thanks for the information!

sucks that there's always a catch, but nevertheless, it's still a compliment that they contacted you! :)
