So my otherwise extremely bright son is kneeling on the couch, rocking back and forth in an autistic sort of way and smashing his face into the backrest cushion. This is all well and good, but the couch also has a hard back on which the cushion rests, and if he happens to miss that cushion he's going to mash his face on it.
