I'm in such an unreasonably terrible mood right now. If I didn't know any better, I would say it was just hormones, but it's not. I feel angry at everyone lately

One of the most interesting things about this entry to me is that you're completely right when you say that if your genders were reversed, no one would say anything. As you know, I work in just about the lowest paying professional level job there is, and Nick does pretty well. But no one seems to think it's odd that I work in a job that's below my degree level because they assume (correctly, but that's another story) that I'm planning on leaving when we have kids

Thanks for the great words, Becky. I don't know if there's a phrase for what's happening to you, but seems like sort of "talking down" situation happens when you talk to other people. I kind of wonder if Brad feels like that happens to him. I'll have to ask him. I think that a lot of people respect teachers, as they are a legitimate professional career. I wonder what the challenges will be with people when you are a stay at home mom. That's some hard work!
