Oh, Harry Potter. Best series of all time. There are so many good books out there.

I think the next list I'll write will be an ANTI books list. Where I list the books that I have just not responded well too. It's a pretty short list, so that might be fun.

Also, I haven't read Lean In, so keep that in mind, but the hype around it makes me autodislike it. Maybe I'll read it if you think it's worth the time though. =)

I read the book before most of the hype and it definitely helped. I also auto hate things based on some sort of silly fandom following. I think a lot of people are put off by the fact that it's written by and for people who are shooting to climb a ladder, but if you look at the core messages, I think that they're essential for every woman to hear, regardless of what you're doing in your life. I'd say, if there were a spark notes for it, I'd read that instead. Most of the negative hype I've heard is about how she's rich and writes from a rich perspective... those people are narrow minded and missed the point entirely. Better yet, watch her ted talk, it's all in there.
