I have this essay and idk where to start. I'm so stressed and it feels like im failing in life. I know a bit melodramatic huh? But can anyone tell me how to start a great essay. Hmmm... is your teacher requiring a specific essay format, or can you choose your own? I'm going to assume you're required to use MLA citation format? Or were you given something different? (Here is the listing of essay types & rules, if you need it

OMG! Thank you so much. I love how you said to do paragraphs for each of the four days. Thatw as a great idea. and i started doing the outline and this helped me alot:) I still have aproblem of starting it though. I don't know whether to explain the riad for my intro. i want it to really be powerful.

And no there's no specific format.

If you want to start with raid, then do so. I would probably jump in somewhere toward the end in the middle of the action, and then back up to explain what's going on in your first body paragraph. The worst part is always the first sentence...if you can get past that, the rest of it will be a breeze.

Maybe if you start writing the body of the essay, an idea for the intro will come to you. Sometimes it helps to already know what you're setting up before you do it.
