I cackled with glee when I read this week’s topic.  I already know the answer to the query of insanity, a big fat YES, and so I am going to tell you why.  It is one of those few areas of my life where I feel absolutely certain, and take some small measure of pride in.  Why is this? It does seem rather strange.  My best answer is that I feel as ( Read more... )

Please tell me "a big fat YES" is a reference to Wizard People, Dear Reader! :)

I like you, you are pretty much me but in other person form. Sometimes I think the world mistakes "Having a good time and enjoying life instead of sulking around like a big sulky pants all the time" as "crazy".

HAHA yes it absolutely is! Oh my gosh I can't express how much I love Wizard People. It got to the point where I was just listening to it on my iPod at work and laughing hysterically while I cleaned toilets.

I am so glad! I love finding kindred spirits, and I completely agree with you :)

I actually meant to comment with one of my WPDR icons. :) I will totally make references to it even when no one I'm with will get them. :) I used to listen to it in my car!

And just because it needs to be said: "Hagar lays down the law on Harry's schooling. A big fat YES, HE'S GOING!"

But, capes make everything better! There is nothing wrong with wearing capes!

Haha I once had a character in an RPG whose big thing was wearing capes. I feel like I got to live vicariously through his theatrical cape antics when it was otherwise inappropriate for me to wear capes in public (like to work where it was against the dress code..hehe.)

Being able to amuse yourself means you'll never be bored! Also, yay cape!

Indeed! i have found it to be a handy skill whilst I am unemployed. I just taught myself how to crochet, perhaps I will crochet myself a CAPE.

:D crochet is my very favorite craft (and I have a lot of 'em). A cape would be pretty simple to crochet, too - you could modify a shawl or shrug pattern and just make the back a lot longer. Hmmm... now I am considering capes. Heh.

And why does this put Edna Mode and "NO CAPES!" into my head? I guess I'm just contrary like that.

Me too! I think that should be mandatory, and the rest of the world is crazy for not recognizing this immediate need of The People's. Thank you so much for reading :)

I thought it prudent to let you know that upon watching that epically brilliant video, laughed so hard that my girlfriend had to come out of the kitchen from washing dishes to look at what I was watching. Congratulations, you are the epitome of perfect crazy. At least so far as this house is concerned. XD
