I haven't been given this much attention since I was an only child, before my siblings were born. It's intoxicating, it makes me feel more desirable than I have ever felt in my life. It's so fascinating that this is a true story, but it really does follow a perfect narrative. But I think I'm most interested in the way the stories--this one in particular--manage to delineate the varying degrees of love that goes into sex (as opposed to "Sex Must Always Equal Love" or You Are Doing It Wrong as we are taught)

It's funny how things like that work out. Also, thank you so much for this comment. That was on my mind so often before and during the time these things were happening and I'm so glad it's coming through in my writing.

Surrounded by men and she still feels lonely. That's actually sad. Does she use sex as a substitute for real love and intimacy? Hmmm that this write could evoke these questions is a good thing. :) nice piece here!

Hard to say :) I think mostly she is falling in love with Mike and not wanting to invest so much emotion in her relationship with him in case he breaks her heart.
