Oh my goodness, so have you read all of these already this year?

Oooooo, the Bridges of Maddison County... you know I'd wanna read that!
Also, the Five People You Meet In Heaven I almost bought the other day, but didn't. Was it good?

How did you enjoy the Jodi Picoult stuff?
I have a couple of her books from the library - Nineteen Minutes and Second Chance (or Glance, something like that anyway!!) and was wondering what someone who'd read her work thought about them?

I read DVC too. I loved it. Have you read the other one, Angels and Demons yet? The film of that will be out soon. Good excuse for a re-read because I thought it was even better than DVC

I really enjoyed Jodi Picoult's books. I've read almost every one of them, and enjoyed each, but I know there are some people who don't enjoy them as much, but I always really did. Ah, nineteen minutes is really good. I haven't read Second Glance yet though, but hopefully I will soon.

The DVC was sooo good! I enjoyed it so much. I haven't read Angels and Demons yet, but that's next. I want to read it and then go see the movie, and also watch the DVC movie since I haven't seen that one either.

Ou better than the DVC? I'll have to get on that!

Thanks for your thoughts, I'm glad Nineteen Minutes is good, becaues that's the one I was thinking of trying first because it sounded like a good story.

I TOTALLY loved DVC, although if you say that to anyone they seem to give you a funny look as though it's something to be ashamed of, I don't know why.
The movie is also really good, Tom Hanks actually plays the role of Langdon really well, which I didn't think would be the case. I've never really been a fan of his but I can't wait to see him in the next film.

Angels and Demons is totally gripping. It's a real page-turner, and very exciting. It's a very long time since I read it though, so I hope I still think the same after a re-read.

Anyway, sorry this is getting like an essay or something, lol, I'll stop now :P

Yeah, I read it this summer and I really enjoyed it.

I second you with loving DVC, and yeah I noticed that too. I know there was a lot of protesting and such when the movie came out too.
Tom Hanks, Really? Wow, I never pictured him playing Langdon. Haha, but I am going to make it a priority soon to watch the movie. And then read Angels and Demons. And then go see the movie. Haha.

I can't wait to read Angels and Demons. Sounds like a really good read :)

Haha, no worries. Talk about books are always awesome!

Ah. As a Freshman in Honors English, I had to read The Secret Life Of Bees last summer, before the movie even came out.

I liked it, but I can't say I loved it.

lol.

And I would <3 to read Bridges. Meryl love. haha.

Yeah, I read it, but it wasn't one of my favorite reads.
As for Bridges. I ADORED IT. Just because since I watched the movie I could picture Meryl while I was reading it :)

Ah, you read Angels and Demons. What did you think of it? I can't wait for the film to come out. Gotta find time to read that book again before it does though :)

BTW, do you get emails or anything when I reply to comments you leave at my journal? I think LJ is falling out with me and not working properly again :(

It is funny that you commented on this post today as I was just thinking about it about an hour ago and debating whether or not to delete it. Just because I keep reading and reading, but I never update this, and now I cannot even remember all the books I read. Hahah.

I did finally get around to reading Angels and Demons! My god it was fantastic. I really liked how we got yet another adventure of Robert. THE FILM!! I have seen the trailer a couple of times and it looks so dark! So good, I'm so excited to go see it. Even though I have no idea who I am going to go see it with just because I know like noone that has read it. How sad is that!! Are you getting excited for the movie? When is it realeased for you?

I get the feeling that sometimes I DO get the emails, and then other times I dont. Unless you just don't comment on my comments to your journal, hehe, but yeah, I know what yu mean, because a little while back all the emails and stuff from LJ were totally screwed up and I wasn't getting any at all.. :(

I'm glad you liked it. I loved it SO much, even more than DVC, and the film, so excited about it. It's out sometime in May over here, and I'm definitely going to see it. I'm like you, have no clue who i'm going with but it's a certainty that i'll be there, even if i'm on my own. I want to read the book again before I go, even though it was so goo di can remember loads about it.
