My mom doesnt want me dating my boyfriend. Because hes black...technically half black. She hasnt met him yet and shes already judging him. It breaks my heart to hear this from her, cuz well he IS the love of my life. and we do plan on getting married and staying together forever. It's different, even though we've only been dating for over 3 weeks

tell her he loves you and you love him and youre happy. and if she doesnt accept that tell her she must not care that your happy

It doesn't matter what race he is. As long as he's a good young man, and he treats you with the respect and love you deserve. Your mother does not have to date this boy; thus his looks should mean nothing to her. I could understand a parent saying you couldn't be with a boy if he was unsuitable by his actions. Doesn't seem like he's done anything wrong, he's done nothing but make you incredibly happy, yeah? So what's the problem? You guys love each other and love is blind.
