a story...hmm....i met this gurl..who wus very kewl..and in da end she bekame my best friend...who has the most COMMON name in the world..where its mentioned in songs and some titles of music or movies or tv. shes a super kutie. and at one point thought i liked her....yea and den she had braces but no more ...and den he says they gawta hang out more often..and ..yea..she is the greatest person in this world.....

No, but you're also not obliged to hurt them and you do it anyways. Last time I checked you were entitled to have feelings for whoever you want and you weren't forced to mislead the ones that have feelings for you.
Maybe it's not that you're a bad person as much as it is that you're so selfless it ends up looking selfish.
