America buried a man who had great influence on our country today.  Whether you agreed with his politics or not, it is still the end of an era.  The Lion of the Senate as died.

Rest in Peace, Senator Kennedy.

Yeah, I was watching on cable as well. Can't help but feel for the Kennedy clan, two deaths is such little time.

I agree - they've been through a lot. I'm not a huge Kennedy fan (he'd done some questionable things over the years), but he still was a very powerful person in our history. And when he didn't go to Eunice's funeral, I wondered about his condition.

Don't agree with his politics, but I definitely respect the family and the mark they have made on our country. Our country is just a bit less bright without him.

I agree - you may not have agreed with him (and I didn't on a lot of stuff), but his family certainly left their mark on our country. And he's really the last of them - Pat's not as publicly active as the rest were.
