Millie hadn't slept well last night with Logan gone, not to mention all the things she'd been thinking about since her conversation yesterday with Meg. All in all she was feeling fairly off balance, so she was out sitting barefoot on the grass by the duck pond just trying to find her center again.

Dean had gone out for a few different local newspapers, and spotted Millie in the park on his way back. He had no idea where they stood, but she wasn't nearly as terrifying just now as Lana and the house were, and he hadn't found anything local enough to hunt, just yet, so he headed over.

"Hey, Millie,"

"Dean..." Millie's eyes went wide and she smiled at him a little uncomfortably.

"How are...?" She stopped herself. "Hello."

"Heh, yeeeeah, I'm fine." He could see her discomfort and figured that that was just the stellar Dean Winchester fuck-up-itude at work. He was realizing there was a reason beyond just getting to the next hunt that he didn't stick around any one place for that long. "I should apologize, I guess,"

She shook her head. "No. There is no need. We both... I am still learning the rules here and I am beginning to realize that they are not always the same. That what you may say or do with one person is not all right with another."

The door of the TARDIS opened, and the Master stepped out, fixing his tie. He yawned. "Good morning."

Millie looked a bit startled. "Hello," she said politely.

"Rather nice out today, isn't it?"

She looked up at him and smiled. "I find most days quite nice regardless of weather, so, yes."
