The Feegle peeked down at Millie from an air vent and whispered to each other.
"Are ye sure we suld be doon this? I dinnae want tae anger the big-wee-not-Kelda or the Hag what lives in the big hoose."
"Oh aye! Booksis fer lendin! An we need tae practice The Readin' o' the words. Bigjobs gots hords o'books called lye-berries where they take an give books all day."
"Shouldnae we go to this lye-berry then?"
"Hoot no man! They's so full o'words we'd never figure out which ones tae read! Nay, it's better tae git a book ye know is gud."
"But look! Readin' tha book has made her fall asleep! Are we sure it's gud?"
"Oh well, tha's normal... I dinnae know about you lads but readin' is powerfully strenuous work. There was a rush of air and a strange sound like a book sized area suddenly became vacant causing air to rush into the spot.

She turned over and reached for her book, but it wasn't on the bed. She got up and looked on the floor and under the bed, but it wasn't anywhere. She tried to call to it magically, but it didn't come.
She went through everything in the room feeling a bit lost and off-balanced. That book was who she was in a way and to have it gone made everything seem just... Not Right.
