One of my old best friends died when i was 12 and the last time we spoke we faught, i treated her different because i didn't understand her anorexia. I wish i had of hugged her all those times i chose not to.

Realising that while love is a noble cause to fight for, its not the only thing to fight for. That its not always up to you to solve your friend's problems especially when you're battling your own demons. That people can lie and its ok because they're human and have something to hide.
That i'm blessed with people like you in my life. You're my good sammy's rainbow umbrella. So you may have some holes in you, thats ok and i practically got you for free. Its good to see some times that you need me, that you're not too old for a hug when you think you've screwed up. That you're growing up better than i did and that you smile more than i do. That you've got a Duchess's wealth in love and luck and a prophet's generosity when sharing it with your friends. You make me proud, you make me smile, you make me laugh, You make ME. And i suppose i haven't done any growing up really as i still haven't bit the bullet, swallowed my pride and told you this. Whatever you may think of me, i'm glad i'm slowly growing up with you around.
