Quote of the day aka my homework for Mass Communications Law and Ethics:

As we know, the country is at war. Can the government constitutionally punish the speakers for the leaflets and the statements to the soldiers? Explain your reasoning using cases.

jsut say no, then you wont hafta explain why. turn in a paper that says "no". also if you put porn and candy in maybe that will help.

No, I do not believe the government can constitutionally punish the speakers for the leaflets and the statements to the soldiers. May I please remind you that it does not say "Freedom of speech is restricted" in the constitution?? People have the right to their own opinions.. if they don't, they why the hell are they taught all their lives by their teachers that they should voice their opinions?? I think so. Also, what about Roe v. Wade? HUH?
