This past weekend, Jason and I joined my mother on a trip to Christian Island, a native reserve north of Orillia. It was my third time there but no less amazing than the other times I have been. No, but one of her responses to my asking her about it was "That's not what bears really look like...it's sick!" I then showed her a picture of a laughing cat and a camel with glasses smoking a cigarette and neither of those bothered her! So weird.

Oh, Jilly Crystal was so tempermental on that trip. The bear surprise in the car door was so great, though.
