Colaba is the southern most tip of Mumbai. Mumbai used to consist of several islands, which in the very early 20th century were turned into one landmass by reclaiming land from the ocean. Were there a lot of pigeons at the gate? When I was there it was pigeon city, which made me happy b/c I love pigeons! lol!

oh yes, pidgeons everywhere! im actually planning on getting a small bird tattoo bc of my favorite writer isabella bird, and i got a great picture of many of them flying in delhi... im going to use one for the tattoo.. especially apt since Bird is a travel writer. :D

Thanks! :D I'm used to editing my photos and stuff, and i posted these -from- mumbai (onto facebook) so i didn't get to edit them at all and they look rough. Also the exposure is all wonky! But alas.

Yes, me too. I only bought one set, somehow!!
