India trip part 9: Jaipur hotel & street photos.

Jaipur is the capital of the desert city Rajasthan (Raja=king sthan=state (basically)). Population just over 3 million. My favorite place in india, the Amer Fort, is just outside of Jaipur, but first I thought I'd show some of the random pictures I took in the hotel and

There's an India festival going on downtown today. You should go check it out if you have time!

Ooh yeah, I almost forgot! can't go, though. today is a cleaning and catch up day for me, unfortunately. : ( Are you going?

Yep, I just got back from the festival. I ate some vada pav and bought 2 new kurtis. The stuff there seemed a little pricey but overall it was okay.

Oh man I could go for some Indian right now. I wish it wasn't so expensive. Curry & Hurry delivers to my apartment, but $_$! (i'm such a cheapskate)

I never made it to Jaipur (time constraints) but it looks lovely!

I was actually expecting Jaipur to be my favorite city... but it was probably my least favorite one. The forts, though... omg if i'm ever a bazillionaire I'm recreating amer fort for myself!
