So pleased you liked it. It's already making the internet rounds, as it were, but I had to share it, I just HAD to, as it is JUST so brilliant. And so very pleased you like the icon, tis the one I use the most often, as it carries such heavy significance to me.
There are some brilliant parodies out there. Have you gotten sucked into the Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire series) yet? Fantasy writing isn't generally my thing, but I have worked my way through almost five books and over 4500 pages in less than a month and I'm completely addicted to the world George RR Martin has created. And talk about parodies out there! Some brilliant stuff.
Heh. I feel like *such* a hipster saying this: I read the books when they first came out back in the 90's, so it feels like very old school stuff to me - by which I mean, I associate it with my high school years, so it no longer feels like something new and fresh. They're very well-written books though, in that I think the style of writing is very good, and I like the distinct voices. Shame about the last two books being a bit of a snooze though. How've you taken to the series? Did you, like me, really enjoy the first 3 books and find the last 2 a bit of a bore?
