My condolences on the loss of your friend. The world is blessed to have had wise, kind folk who can make us laugh.

I just returned aMoL to the library - I'll get my own copy when I can do so in electrons - don't have room any more for these massive tomes. Don't know how the usenet discussions are going -I was following from Google groups for a while, but they stopped sending summaries, and I haven't had time.

So. Who *did* kill Asmodean, we wonders? His name is mentioned in this volume, but I didn't see that question answered. But some parts dragged and I skimmed. They're saving that for a new series, no doubt. But we've *got* to break Sanderson free so he can finish asoiaf . . .

Enjoy your read!

Ah. I see the Asmodean question has been answered. In one of the books. That I skimmed too lightly. :-(

I thought it was answered a few books ago? Thought it was Graendal. Anyway, no spoilers! Haven't read AMOL yet!

Yes. That is my understanding. I suppose it surfaced in some G. thought process description - I didn't read all of those carefully. No, I haven't revealed any details* from aMoL. Enjoy!

*other than that it is a big book. But that's not all that much of a spoiler . . . :-)
