Today is probably the worst day ever. It's with our deepest regrets that we have to write this. Casey Calvert passed away in his sleep last night. We found out this afternoon before sound-check. body: I'm gonna miss Casey Calvert from Hawthorne Heights. I'm very upset that our brother is gone away from us. He was a great great guy, the first friend we made from the band.
As most of you know that band has been put through the ringer, they have been dragged down and spit on by others when in reality these awesome dudes just want to do what makes them happy.
We were lucky enough to tour with them not too long ago, and I feel blessed that we were able to tour with them..we have a lot in common and know personally what its like to have people turn your back on you and still venture on despite the odds..a band of brothers we were and will continue to be.
my thoughts and love goes out to everyone that surrounded casey.

This is the worst thing, I don't think my day can get lighted after reading this, I found out while being in altpress.com. I just started crying like crazy...Hawthorne Heights has been one of me favorite favorite bands since the moment I heard them. I'm feeling so down I mean, how did this happen??? God, this is horrible....ur on my prayers Casey!

I didnt believe it when i first heard it to be honest..
Ive seen them twice in glasgow and shook their hands etc, which make me so amazingly happy as i was obsessed with the band!Its just surreal.
RIP. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Casey.
You were such a gifted, talented and inspirational guy.
Such a sore loss to the music world :(
I hope his family and friends are all coping ok...
We miss you so much Casey, and it was a pleasure to meet you, even if only for a few minutes.
Rest in peace, you and your family and friends will be in our thoughts and prayers always.
