it is hard, especially when you are an over sensitive emotional rollercoaster such as myself... but i think i'm over it. my boss and other coworkers made me call HR and report the incident though, and that makes me uncomfortable.. :/

I'm a lot like you in the emotional part. Dude seriously if it's the right part of sad commercial or movie I will ball my eyes out even if I didn't watch the entire movie 8) hehe.
I like to think I am tough and can handle everything but when it comes to things like this I get upset too (sometimes) and cry like a baby...it's a female thing.
Be proud that you are a bigger person and he's an asshatter batter.

haha speaking of which, the movie Ghost totally made me sob the other day, even though I only saw the last 5 minutes. lol. i cry at kodak and disney commercials too ;)
and people at work regularly make me want to cry. but i have converted the urge to cry into the urge to fist fight them. maybe that's a bad thing...
You should now take extra care in shipping things, which will then take you longer to ship things, which will make you less productive and cost the company more money. If they ask why you are going so slow tell them you don't want anything to get broken again because the last time was horrible and you never heard the end of it and so you are being extra careful now when shipping things. :)
but i have come to realize that no matter how old or how important people are, it doesn't mean they act appropriately. and people will always disrespect those who are younger, lower on the food chain, or of the opposite sex. and this will always piss me the fuck off, but it probably will never change.
i'm proud of you for giving him hell on the phone. i don't think i would have had the balls to put it the way you did, and in my situation i'd be fearing for my job, but if you can get away with telling him that you don't think he's very nice, then that's awesome :)
