02 | the pokemon misadventure
[ When the video comes on there's a lot of chatter in the background, Misty's Pokemon are having a lot of fun in the water even if it is only a fountain. At first she's not looking at the video, her attention diverted to her Pokemon - especially Togepi, although Politoed's clapping is doing a great job at keeping it occupied, enough so to bring a small smile to her face ]
This morning wasn't any less weird than yesterday. The shock wasn't so bad once I'd remembered everything that I was told but I guess it's going to take some time to get used to. Thank you to everyone who helped me, that was really nice of you.
I guess that I should really introduce myself. My name's Misty. I'm from Cerulean City, in the Kanto Region. I know that there's some of you who already know me, or at least know my gym - I'm the Cerulean City gym leader and I specialise in water pokemon.
I've heard that not everyone knows what a pokemon is, or at least didn't until they came here. If anyone's curious about them, I'll be in town for most of the day. I managed to find the Pokemon Center and everyone's okay.
I suppose now is a good time to make plans, it sounds like I'll be here for a while. So, Cheren? I'm ready for a battle. [ She didn't really know how much she could settle in, but at least a battle would take her mind off of this for a little while, plus his Simipour looked amazing ]
