Break is over. The daily grind of school will begin on Monday.
I made Honor Roll this semester. I worked a little over break.
I went to a Christmas Party in VA Beach. I hung out a lot.
Chantony left for Hawaii and I cried alligator tears.
Other things could be said about the break but I'll leave that for later.



What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?
-I transfered schools and lived with two complete strangers.

Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
-Ha I did not keep my resolutions. Who does anyways? This year though I plan to back in shape. And by shape I mean being able to run a couple miles without dying.

Did anyone close to you give birth?
-Yeah, an old friend's baby sister had a baby girl named Ava.

Did anyone close to you die?
-Yes, my Grandma Jean died when I was in Alaska this summer and I couldn't go to the funeral. And R.D (Grandfather type figure)

What countries did you visit?
-Costa Rica

What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?
-A relationship with the opposite sex for longer than a couple months.

What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
-August 3rd. The day I came home from AK and the feeling of not wanting to leave there.

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
-Honor Roll and finding a wonderful friend in Greenville.

What was your biggest failure?
-Not realizing my happiness is found in the most obscure places.

Did you suffer illness or injury?
-Nope. Other than getting sick once or twice and the worse hangover ever from a night of drinking in AK.

What was the best thing you bought?
-Mp3 Player

Whose behaviour merited celebration?
-Everyones!

Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
-You dont even want to get me started. I'll just leave it to the girls in the 336 area.

Where did most of your money go?
-Food, gas, house things.

What did you get really, really, really excited about?
-Moving to AK for 5 months. Having a new car in the driveway the morning I woke up from being away all Spring/Summer.

What song will always remind you of 2005?

Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
-I'll say happier.

What do you wish you'd done more of?
-Read more.

What do you wish you'd done less of?
-Ate less junk food.

How will you be spending Christmas?
-With my family at 246 Hillcrest Dr.

-HAHA! I got socks, a blender, a stone pizza thing, a MILO!! my sex life back, a lighted mirror, a sweatshirt

Did you fall in love in 2005?
-Nope. Not with a person of romantic intrest.

-Zip.

What was your favourite TV programme?
-Nip/Tuck, Americas Next Top Model.

Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
-Yes. Names shall not be said.

What was the best book you read?
-I read a lot of really good books.

What was your greatest musical discovery?
-I really like Tegan and Sara and Aqualung and the rediscovery of Joni Mitchell.

What did you want and get?
-A new car.

What did you want and not get?
-A boyfriend.

What was your favourite film of this year?
-Crash, Lemeny Snickets, The History of Violence.

What did you do on your birthday?
-Sat in my car stranded on the side of the road in a tropical depression, then sat in a tow truck for 3 hours.

What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
-If I traveled more.

How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005?
-Jeans, tank top, funky necklace and ear rings and flip flops and a big purse.

What kept you sane?
-Phone calls and visits to Alice, music, new friends.

Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
-Ashlee Simpson. It's like watching a train wreck.

What political issue stirred you the most?
-Everything that deals with Dubya.

Who did you miss?
-Baby Delilah, certain friends that I don't speak to anymore for reasons beyond my knowing.

-Courtney J. Smith.
