HI FRIENDS,

This is what I've gathered on the book front: People enjoyed reading the same books as everyone else, and were sad when there was no february book. SO! That's cool, let's just do that. There was minimal participation in the discussion (thank you to those you did participate!), so I am not going to focus on that. I'll still have random ( Read more... )

I would have participated, but I'm only halfway through Little Bee now. Took me a bit to start. I have no suggestions, I'll read mostly anything if I like the sound of it. :)

YES, I will partake this time.

We could do something old that's now public domain, so that the Gutenberg Project probably has it available? Possibly easier than finding some ebooks :P

The Mask of Apollo by Mary Renault
The Magus by John Fowles
Okay, ANYTHING by John Fowles.

Those are older so they should be easy to get a free copy off, a few newer ones it might be possible to get in ebook:

Gates of Fire by Steven Pressfield
(and two lighter choices:)
Nekropolis by Tim Waggoner (about which I made a very excited post.)
Triumff: Her Majesty's Hero by Dan Abnett (which is just hilarious.)
