Ha! I decided to take a break from working all evening on my table set up for the Halloween Opera. I'm using the SAME two images from your new Halloween clip art that just came in the mail. I looked at your posting and started laughing- knowing that I wasn't the only one surrounded by beautiful bats and full moons. The bats are from our all time favorite vintage Halloween cards.Likewise, the moon has been one of our favorites. I know all about printer problems with the feeder refusing to take anything other then regular paper every third piece without a paper jam...and this printer is less then a year old! I'll send you a picture when I get it all set up for the show. I'm floating on cloud nine with the decorations, and I can use them to decorate the house after the show. Great collection!
There's a chance I'll be able to go to the Halloween Opera--my friend pickledpunk is trying to organize a little road trip with his Gal, Sister and Brother-in-Law, I'll tag along if it works out.
Sure wish you could still take a train from Philadelphia to "Mauchunk" like you could back in the day. Progress...bah. I fail to see how dismantling transportation systems is progress, but that is a rant for another place and time ;)
Just wrote an email to your friend pickledpunk- when you have the time, send me an email at r.rada@lycos.com and let me know if you are coming up. I've a question to ask you. They still run trains weekly out of town, but only for the tourists and then the regular toxic cross country trains on the working lines pass by daily.Wouldn't I love to train to the cities I love in an old rail car- where ever and when ever I wanted.
