There was a time he was unable to forget, but he wished it can burn away.
But he remembered it, clear as day, as if it just happened yesterday.
What was it his mind couldn’t forget?
His first love.
And he wished, just wished, that he can forget.
But he can’t.
His heart won’t allow it.
Why, you ask?
Because he loved that man till now.
Even if that man betrayed him more than once.
Even if that man had done ugly deeds.
Even if that man said he hated him.
But that man was always there, whispering those three words.
“I love you,” that man would say every night.
“I love you.”
Even if it hurts, he still loved that man.
Even if that man was gone.
Gone far, far away.
Even if he’s hurt, he still loves that man.
Even if he can’t see that man anymore, he still loves that man.
Because, he would tell himself, I’m a fool.
A fool.
For falling over that man.
A fool, for letting that man go.
A fool for being a fool.
A fool for being Ninomiya Kazunari.
A fool for falling in love with Ohno Satoshi.
