Fanfic Masterpost ++++++++++
Matsumoto Jun was perfect and no one dared to underestimate him. Perfect hair, flawless skin, nice body, and perfect everything. Every move he made, every word that came out of his mouth, and everything he did were also perfect as if his whole life was scripted to be a movie.
Someone would tell you, if you asked who that flawless and glowing man sitting in the lounge with a group of girls surrounding him, that he was Matsumoto Jun an idol God mixed with all the perfect things. Of course you wouldn’t believe it because there was no such thing as being perfect-- unless you were a robot. However, as you lay your eyes for as long as you want on him, you thought wrong.
You would notice how soft and silky his brown hair looked like, making you want to run your hands-- and maybe nuzzle your head on it-- through his beautiful hair. The way his eyebrows raised, after he turned towards your direction, to the way you stared hard at him made you swoon. Those lips that made you want to come closer to him as it turned into a cute smile. And when he stood up, you can fully see his body as well as his legs fluidly moving in slow motion in your head as he came towards you. When he came to a stop, you could barely handle the excitement in your system so you let out a loud excited squeal. And when he looked at you with those eyes that had a perfect gleam in them, you were ready to pounce on him when his smile turned into a smirk.
“Hey...” Jun smirked as he looked at the brunette from head to toe, “...Fuck off.”
He was there long enough to see the smile on her face turn into a frown. When he feared things were going to be worse, he turned around, and walked from the lounge before he was forced to hear the girl whimper, pout, cry, or whatever it is girls did when they were rejected. He at least tried to tell her kindly but from the look of it, it was bad. He didn’t care anyways.
Ever since he was born, no one was able to take the eyes off of him--according to his mom-- while they all said how cute and good-looking he was. When the years went by, Jun aged and soon he found himself walking at the age of three and he was able to say his first real words. When his mom would drop him off at the daycare because his parents were always busy, the ladies in charge of the place always crowded around him. He remembered his cheeks being squished painfully, but he couldn’t remember the rest.
When his daycare days were over and his time to be a preschooler came, he was afraid at first, but he managed to do well the whole year. He realized that with his looks, he was able to ask the girls to do anything for him. There was one day when he joined the other boys ganging up on the new student but they all got caught in the end. Jun was the last to be called to the office. Once he closed the door behind him and sat down on those tiny yellow little chairs, he put on his game face while the principal was busy being busy. By the time she looked up, Jun was already using his chubby cheeks as a counter attack. He knew that the principal had a soft side for cute kids so he was able to leave with a tiny warning after an hour of boring lecture.
After that day, all the boys would walk away from him whenever he tried to approach them. At break time, or nap time, he tries to be in the group of boys but he ended up being shoved away until he spent that time in the middle of a group of girls. Annoyed by their high voices, he walked off on his own to the tunnel besides the playground the kids barely used.
Jun sat there silently for a while. After hearing the loud laughter of the boys and the shrieking of the girls, he felt like there was no one with him even if he used his good looks. That was when he cried and tasted the salty flavor of his tears that ran endlessly down his chubby cheeks.
“Are you ok?!” A small, yet loud and slightly high-pitched voice came ringing through the tunnel.
He jerked up, startled that he realized he wasn’t alone. He quickly wiped all his tears away using the back of his hands, and wiped the rest with his light blue uniform.
“Are you ok?!” The same voice asked again, but this time it was getting closer.
“G-go...away...” Jun whispered though he doubted that the intruder heard him.
“Are you ok?!” This time, it was close to his ear.
Startled, Jun turned around and saw a boy with slightly chubby cheeks unlike him. His eyes were the color of chocolate or poop, and his hair was unevenly messed around his small head.
“Are you--”
“GO AWAY!” Jun told him, annoyed that the boy kept asking the same question. When the tunnel had gone quiet, he thought that the weird boy had left but he heard shallow breathing behind him.
“Hi, I’m Sakurai Sho. You’re Matsujun, right? Let’s be friends,” the boy introduced himself as his hand shot out from his side.
Jun ignored it and turned around when he saw that the boy didn’t move an inch. He doubted that someone like him would want to be friends with him since he must have heard from the boys that he had his ways to refrain from getting in trouble. And who even told him to call him Matsujun. It was such a weird nickname. To make things better, he heard the bell ring, and he used this time to escape from the tunnel. He ran away from the tunnel without looking back and made it safe to his classroom. Before the teacher came in, he sat in his group of four and curiously, he looked around. There was no sign of that weird boy around.
His preschool days were coming by slowly when he thought that things were going to get better for him. That same weird boy from the tunnel was always around him during recess and he had no way to take him away from his side. Even the girls were starting to ignore him when he tried asking them for help. That boy, every time when he encountered him, would always call him by that weird nickname that he didn’t like. Everything about that boy is weird and Jun didn’t want to get closer. However, that feeling went away when the boy refused to move from his side.
Every day, Jun looked forward to the boy calling him by that weird nickname he was starting to like. He stopped calling him as a weird boy and started addressing him by his name formally. The boy would laugh when Jun called him Sakurai-san and told him to just call him Sho. When he tried it out, he actually liked it and felt comfortable with saying it.
When the preschool teachers came up with an event where all the students would spend the night at the preschool, Jun and Sho already stuck by each other until that day came. After their parents had bid them goodnight and told them to be careful and to take care, both of the boys already had their sleeping bags set up nicely next to each other. Then they joined in the activities before washing up and were tucked inside of their sleeping bags. When the lights were finally off, Jun felt a small nudge on his sleeping bag so he opened his eyes and saw that it was his best friends hand on him. He smiled when he saw that his best friend was deep asleep while light snores came out of his mouth. Scooting in closer, Jun took the hand in his, slipped it inside his blanket, and dozed off until the morning came.
He was never able to see him after that day when he patiently waited for him at the playground. He asked Sho’s teacher where he was and was told that his family was planning on moving away. Devastated and lost, Jun ran out of the preschool and wondered the streets to find Sho’s house. Because he didn’t know where he lived, the teachers picked him up from the streets after receiving a phone call from the police. After that, his preschool years went by as nothing unlike compared to the fun times he and Sho had together.
As years passed by and Jun was getting older as well as his face becoming skinnier and manlier, his memories of being a kid were slowly deteriorating. It was replaced with girls and nothing but girls always trying to run after him, screaming and crying all around him. They were so annoying that he asked his mom if he can be homeschooled instead. He spent his middle school and his high school years locked up in his house until finally, he graduated with excellent grades from homeschooling. It was then that Jun had to finally go out to the real world, going to college and actually being around people and was forced to hear all the girls yelling when they saw him.
After he left the girl with a deep frown on her face, he felt relieved that the other girls were nowhere to be seen. Fearing that they might catch up soon, he walked faster out of campus and headed to wherever he wanted to go because he didn’t have class until half an hour later. It was a short walk, because he went at such a fast speed, and he found himself standing in front of an old library. Seeing that no one was around, he slipped inside the building and relaxed when there was not a single soul to be seen.
From time to time, Jun liked to be alone thinking of things that entertained his mind. Sometimes, his mind would wander off and he would pick up a couple of lost, yet very vague memories from when he was a child. For some strange reason, a boy’s pudgy face, he was about 6 years old, would always pop up and his head would hurt just from thinking about it. Whoever it was, this boy was giving him a hard time trying to remember everything. That same very face was also showing now in his mind.
“--Help you?”
Jun snapped from his dazed thoughts when he heard a female’s soft voice from behind him. He thought that she was one of those hormone crazed girls, but he turned around and saw a nice old lady with a soft smile on her face. Jun immediately felt comfortable as if she was his grandmother.
“May I help you?” She repeated.
“Uh... are there any books about photography here?” He asked her to make it look like he wasn’t there to hide.
“Oh,” her eyebrows raised and then went down again before she continued speaking, “We do... my grandson will help you with that... SHO!” For an old lady, who looked so fragile like a porcelain doll, had a loud booming voice that scared him just a little.
Jun waited for her grandson to show up while she went away back into wherever she was before. Feeling bored, he started walking around and scanned through every book in the shelves. Most of them, he recognized as famous authors from when he loved reading back then. Most of them looked old and outdated that he felt like this library needed a new renovation. But being surrounded by books like this, which seemed like a good idea to him, would take him a lifetime or two just to finish reading all of it. When he reached the further end of the first column, he took a swift turn to the next and accidentally bumped his hips on a pile of books.
Jun thought he was alone when he heard a soft grunt right after it fell. Seeing that no one was around, he was about to leave it alone when he heard shuffling from coming from the front store. Worried that the old lady was going to get mad, he went back to the pile of books and started picking them up one by one. As he grabbed every book off the pile of mess, his eyes grew wide when he saw a piece of dark brown hair sticking out from under the mess.
“What the-”
There was than grunt again and the pile of books started moving and falling down from the sudden movement. Jun was at loss, he didn’t know what to do or how to react at the thing that was moving inside. He was afraid that he was going to discover a monster that could attack him if he cleared all the books away. But because he heard more shuffling from coming closer to him, he immediately started to work again and soon, he finished just when the old lady came walking towards him.
“Sho!” The old lady shouted as she came running towards the lying figure on the floor.
Jun was scared. He might have actually killed the man since he was under the books for quite some time. Feeling guilty, he too, walked over to the still figure on the ground, hoping that he was still alive.
“Sho! Sho!” The old lady repeated his name and shook him a couple of times. “Sho!”
“Unn..” the figure weakly grunted then twitched a little at his grandmother’s touch. “Obaa-san… is that you?...”
“Sho!” The old lady said his name again, but this time with an angry tone. “What did I tell you about being careful?! And again, those books fell on you…”
“Sorry,” he apologized, “But I didn’t do anything this time, I swear! I was just looking through the books when suddenly, they fell down on me again.”
This time, it was Jun’s turn to speak. There was no one else but the three of them in this small library and the old lady was far off doing her own things. Though their eyes weren’t on him, he coughed and apologized for being clumsy.
“No, it’s ok,” the old lady turned around, the same nice smile on her wrinkled face, “You don’t have to blame yourself for my grandson’s mistake.”
“It really was me,” Jun told her honestly, “I was going to this section when I hit the books with my hips and then it fell down. I’m sorry, Sho-san, I didn’t know you were there…”
“And what did you say your name was… young man?”
“Uh… Matsumoto Jun…”
“Sho!” She turned around and her voice was loud again. “Sho Matsumoto-kun where the photography books are. And this time, don’t put him into trouble too…”
“B-but-” Jun stuttered since he was in fact ignored by the old lady. He didn’t have the chance to repeat the whole story when the old lady was gone fast and he was left alone with her grandson. Having no choice but to stick with the story, he turned around and saw that the man had already stood up.
He didn’t look much older than him and neither did he look like his grandmother at all. Though he could see a little resemblance in their eyes being the same color as chocolate brown. Other than that, there was nothing else.
“Hello, Matsumoto-san. What kind book did you want to look for?” The man smiled, showing his perfectly white teeth.
“Ph-“
“Oh yeah, photography. Sorry, it slipped from my mind.” Now Jun understood why he would be the type to get into a mess.
The two walked around the library, with the latter in the lead, and he following closely behind him. When he felt like they were walking forever, he was about to tap the man’s noticeable sloping shoulder, they came to a stop.
The whole time they were walking he hadn’t noticed where they were since he kept staring curiously at the man’s back. Looking up, he saw that he was surrounded with new books and it looked like the library was renovated for that time they walked in silence. He was surprised when he saw that all the books were nothing but photography. It was strange to have a whole place dedicated just to this type of subject.
“Is there anything wrong?” The man asked him when he refused to move or talk.
“N-nothing at all. It’s just that…Never mind,” Jun shrugged it off, “I’ll just go over there…” With that said, he headed to one corner of the room and randomly picked out a book from the shelf. There were plenty of furnishing around so he picked the light purple couch and relaxed into the chair. It was so soft that he would be able to sleep anytime.
After settling into the couch, he opened the book and started looking through the different kinds of photos in different angles. As he grew up, he was always into photography. When he got his hands on a disposable camera during grade school, he would waste tons of money on film just for taking tons and tons of pictures. His mom berated him for spending her money on them, but she easily forgave him when she saw the developed photos a couple of weeks later. Soon, he found himself greatly immersed in the world of photography that even his dad decided to support him, along with his mom. By the time he was in high school, on his 17th birthday, they gave him his first real camera and Jun wanted nothing else after receiving such a great gift.
On the other hand, while he was reading, he couldn’t help but notice the latter standing where he had left him. It was awkward enough to be around him since he barely knew the man, and he was unable to start a conversation. Instead, he coughed loud enough to get his attention, and motioned his head to the right. The man seemed to have understood and sat down on the other end of the long couch.
“So… you said your name was Jun?” The man asked him after a moment of silence.
Jun nodded his head in response.
“I knew a Jun once. He was annoyed by me at first, but he started to like my attention.”
Half of his attention was towards the man telling a story while most of it was focused on the book. Jun didn’t like it when people told him their life story, because he really didn’t care, but he tried to be nice about it by pretending to listen.
“And then I told him everything and in return, he told me his. You know, all these books, are dedicated to him.”
“Really?” Jun asked him in a pretend way of being interested.
“Yeah… I left him without saying a word. He probably felt so sad and lost when I was gone. He didn’t have many friends from the beginning…”
“Sounds like someone I knew,” Jun told him honestly. Like that kid named Jun that the man knew, he didn’t have friends. When he entered grade school, he tried to hang out with the boys but he was shoved away and was instead being taken care of by the girls. It was great hanging out with them, but at the same time, their voices and perfumes were pissing him off. This is another reason why he wanted to be home-schooled in the first place.
“Really?!” The latter exclaimed causing Jun to jump a little at the loudness. “Then are we talking about the same Matsujun I knew from preschool?”
This time, Jun looked up from the sound of that name coming from the man’s mouth. It sounded awfully a lot familiar. Heck, it can even be his name. But it wasn’t possible since he never met this man in his life and no one called him by that weird nickname; he’s pretty sure there were other Matsumoto Jun’s out there.
“Hmm, not really…” Jun told him after thinking about it. “I was referring to myself.”
“Oh…” the latter sounded out, his voice going quiet at the end. “Well, I thought you might know him. He reminded me of you after I heard your name and saw your face.”
“Well, I hope you find him and show him this place. I bet he’ll love it. I mean, I would-“
“Matsujun…”
There it was again, that weird nickname.
“Can you please not say that… it’s kind of awkward. You make it sound like you’re referring to me.” It was true since it was just the two of them present.
When he thought that the man stopped talking about his childhood, he flipped to another page when he heard shallow breathing from behind him. Startled, the book fell to the floor along with his body that made a loud thud.
“Ow! Watch it!” Jun spat as he tried standing up.
“Are you ok?” The man asked him in a worried tone before he came running towards him.
“Of course, I’m not ok! What were you-“
In an instant, Jun saw a small boy in his eyes. The very same boy that kept appearing in his thoughts who had that chocolate, poop-like, eyes and his chipmunk-like smile kept flashing in his mind. He tried to blink the image away but the boy’s face stayed there and kept blinking and smiling. He felt like he was going to lose his mind, but after one more blink, he saw the man’s face in front of him. His eyebrows were knit together, and his chocolate eyes were glistening.
“Matsumoto-kun, are you ok?!”
“Yeah…” Jun responded, his anger now gone without him noticing. “I think I’ll just call it a day off. I’ll be back later since I’m probably late for class…”
“I’m sorry, and I’ll be here when you need assisting. Here,” his hand shot out from his side, “I’ll take you out of here.”
He was still in his dazed and confused state that he felt his hand being touched. He didn’t pull back when the man’s hand tightly gripped his hand, and then came the boy’s face again. However this time, he saw him sleeping peacefully and his hand was moving around until it came to a stop. Jun couldn’t remember well about the whole surrounding, but all of a sudden, he remembered taking that boy’s hand and holding onto it tightly like he was his treasure.
“I-I’m sorry,” Jun finally snapped from his thoughts and let go of the man’s warm hand, “I’ll go out myself. I don’t I’ll ever come back here. I’m sorry.” With that said, Jun left the man standing while he easily found his way out and left with uneasy feelings in his chest.
Jun was unable to focus on everything, but his mind was subconsciously wondering off to memory land. School finished sooner than he had realized and he found himself walking towards who knows where. When the day was starting to become dark, and the crickets were making sounds, Jun looked up and saw that he was standing in front of an old and abandoned preschool. He had no idea what he was doing there, but his feet easily led him inside the entrance. Once his feet found it’s place, he was now standing in front of a faded out playground.
It was a complete mess. There were dried leaves hanging around the whole place and there were puddles everywhere. The more he looked around, he saw a small tunnel, yet it was large enough for him to even fit inside. As if looking at that was a trigger, his feet started moving again and his body bent down once he reached the tunnel. It was pitch black-the hole at the other end was blocked off- once he entered inside of the small tunnel. Even though it seemed like it could fit him, only a child would be able to fit in the small cramped place. His body relaxed after he rested his back on the wall while his legs were outside of the tunnel.
Jun didn’t know what overcame him as he felt something wet sliding down his cheeks. It tasted so salty that it reminded him of bitter days when the whole world ignored him for a week. When he thought it wasn’t going to be any worse, that same boy from his thoughts wondered in his head and this time, he saw him just as happy as he was too. Both of them were smiling like everything in the world didn’t matter to them as long as they had each other. They laughed when something happened , but he was unable to hear them because of how vague his memories were. There was definitely something he had forgotten that was important for him to remember to cry so hard just seeing those two little boys.
“Are you ok?!” A low and husky voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
Embarrassed that he had been seen, he quickly wiped away the tears, but he didn’t move.
Except he pulled his legs in just to make it look like there was no one there.
“Are you ok?!” The same voice asked again, but this time it was getting closer.
Jun didn’t answer and kept quiet to get rid of the man.
“Are you ok?!” This time, the man was closer than he expected him to be.
He saw his shadow casting over the mud outside of the tunnel, and he thought it might be a police man thinking he was a kid. With that thought in mind, he stepped out of the tunnel only to find the man from the library standing outside with worry lines on his face.
“…” Jun was speechless, but mostly surprised after seeing the man. Was it just merely a coincidence? Or was his house somewhere near here?
“I thought I heard crying. So it was you after all…”
“Huh?” Jun finally spoke, but it came out sounding like he was a dumb person.
“Matsujun… You don’t remember me?”
“Not that I needed to.”
“Oh. I see…” the man responded, his voice faltering near the end. “I guess I’ll see you later then.
“Yeah…” Jun nodded his head, though he doubted that they will see each other again. “…Bye.” When the man didn’t move, he got up himself and walked out of the preschool. He still had those uneasy feelings and he had no clue why that man triggered it. Whatever it was, he was going to stay away from him as best as he can.
That was what Jun thought when he started hearing about him after that day. He heard from his female classmates that he was also someone like him, a perfect person, but with a very odd personality. They said that if he had a competition against each other, neither would win because of how perfect they were in anything they did. But Jun knew that the man was clumsy, lived with his grandmother who ran an old library, and was stuck in the past. How come he’s never heard of him until now?
As he walked to photography club, the girls that were always around him, surrounded him like a busy school of bees. He didn’t mind them as long as none of them stood in his way or else he was forced to be mean to them. Though he really didn’t care. When he was about to take another turn at the corner, he heard one of the girls shriek and half of them ran as a group towards something else. This caught Jun’s attention and right away, he was able to spot the man with the sloping shoulders.
When the crowd dispersed as if they were the separating sea and he was Moses, Jun expected to see a dorky man with his funny smile on his face. However, Jun saw someone else different from who he expected him to be. Don’t get him wrong, but it was the same man from the library: who lived with his grandma and was clumsy according to her.
Every clothing on his body was refined that made him look like he came from a rich family. His hair was styled nicely, his bangs on the right side of his head. What Jun saw last time was a man with disheveled and oily dirty brown hair. His eyes were shining like someone put glitter in them. What Jun saw last time were his eyes shining in the same way, but dull and boring. His lips looked soft and he looked almost evil-like when he smirked instead of smiling. What Jun saw last time was an honest smile, and his pearly white teeth shining despite the dim lights of the library. When he looked down, he saw his muscles visibly showing as he scratched the back of his head. Who exactly was he?
On the other hand, the girls around him were still screaming and yelling because they must have noticed at how he was staring at him in the eyes. Jun suddenly became angry just seeing him so he continued heading to where he was headed to, and ignored the girls asking him questions. Finally, when he was inside the club where it was strictly only members, did he feel at least slightly eased.
“What was that about?” His classmate and few weeks friend, Ninomiya Kazunari, asked him.
“Nothing. Just some crazed girls wanting to get my ass again.”
“Didn’t sound like it,” he scoffed, “I also noticed how there were only so little of them. Maybe-“
“Shut the fuck up, Nino. Mind your own business, will you?”
“Hey, I’m just trying to be a friend here. No harm intended.”
Jun just rolled his eyes at his friend who shortly left him to bother someone else. For one thing, he was glad that there was someone to talk to other than his parents, but another thing was that he sometimes got on his nerve. He only became friends with him a couple of weeks ago, but having someone with a running mouth isn’t that bad unlike having no one to talk to.
Jun normally spent his club time doing nothing but taking photographs alone, or sometimes with Nino now that he’s met him. But because of another new nuisance, everything was starting to become annoying to him. Like how his desk was slightly messy so he took a rag and started cleaning like it was D-Day. Or how the photos on the wall were uneven so he grabbed a chair and adjusted them until they were perfectly lined up. Or how-
“Woah, Jun, calm down. You’re like a mad woman who’s out to kill,” Nino stopped him before he grabbed a paint of bucket to paint the walls nicely.
“Who said anything about me being a mad woman! I’m calm, and I checked I was a man a long time ago!” He exclaimed, suddenly irritated and annoyed at his newly found friend.
“Alright, alright, whatever you say. Oh and, someone’s here to see you.”
“Who’s that?”
“Dunno. I just happened to be near the door, heard your name, so I went to your desk but found you here acting like a mad woman.”
“Shut up!” Jun spat. “Stop calling me a mad woman.”
“Fine, but I think you should hurry. He said he had somewhere to go.”
After putting the pail of paint down where it belonged, he headed to the main room of their club and saw a bunch of the club members crowding the door. They were mostly girls and Jun frowned knowing that they hadn’t treated him like that since he first became a club member.
“Oh, I heard you knew Jun-kun. Is he your friend or something?! One of my friends mailed me saying you guys were staring at each other at the hallway!”
“Yeah, do you know him?!”
“Can you tell us more about him, since we’re afraid to ask…” So that was why they treated him like a normal person. He thought they hated him.
“Ahem,” Jun coughed and all eyes were on him, which grew big, and soon the crowd had vanished. After seeing the last of the club member buzzed out of his way, his attention was back to the person that had called for him. Jun swore he heard a twig snap.
“What do you want?” He asked him rudely. He wasn’t a girl, so he didn’t care if his feelings were hurt.
“You hate me now too?” At least his voice was still the same.
“Why do you care about my feelings for you? And what was it that you wanted to tell me. It better be important or I’ll just kick you in the guts.”
“I--“
“Wait,” Jun stopped him before he spoke another word, “let’s take this somewhere else. I don’t want the girls to see something bad happen after.”
The man gave a quick nod and followed him after he closed the door shut. It was a good thing that during this time of the day, no one littered around the garden area of their school so it was mostly quiet which made him spend some time there.
“Spit, what is it?” Jun asked him after they took a seat on one of the garden benches.
“I came here to get to know you better,” he admitted. “I only came here for a break from school and people thought that I was a new student here. I knew you went here because I heard a bunch of girls talking the past few weeks, and I couldn’t help myself. Anyways, I hadn’t formally introduced myself. My name is Sakurai Sho.”
“I don’t care,” Jun scoffed after hearing his reason. “So you’re one of my stalkers too now? I really don’t care. I’ll be-“
“Matsujun!”
There it was again, that annoying nickname that he learned to hate after seeing this man the way he is now. Just as he was about to stand up, he fell back to the bench feeling light-headed. At the same time, the boy who was always in his mind floating about, appeared out of nowhere and started prancing around the garden. He noticed a change in the atmosphere like how it was starting to become brighter and he wasn’t sitting on the garden bench anymore. Instead, he found himself inside his memory with the same two boys his memory had imaged for him. They were skipping around, running after each other, and saying something inaudible. When they boy with the chocolate, poop-like eyes opened his mouth, in a very loud and slightly high-pitched voice, he yelled
“Matsujun!”
After that, he came back to his senses and the man was now in front of him, staring at him with wide eyes.
“Matsujun?” His low and husky voice sounded out perfectly around the garden.
“Do… I know you?”
“What do you mean? We just met each other didn’t we?”
“No, that’s not what I meant… I think I’ve seen you somewhere before…”
“Well yeah,” the man shrugged, “At the library, at that preschool, and earlier at the hallways near your club. I’m pretty sure you have seen me more than once.”
“No! That’s not what I meant!” Jun stopped him before he continued stating out where they met. “I meant a long time ago! Like, when we were kids…I guess.”
“Hmm…” He brought his hand up and started rubbing his chin like an older man. “No. I’ve never met you.”
“Then a few weeks ago, at that preschool, you said something about remembering…” He really couldn’t remember all the words which irritated him.
“I didn’t know what I was saying back then. I’ll see you later. I have to go back home to my grandma.”
“Uhn… Yeah, sure… Catch you later, I guess.”
Jun stayed back in the garden and he didn’t realize that it was getting darker until Nino had spotted him sulking on the bench. He ignored him talking to him in an ignorant manner that irritated him until finally everything was quiet when Nino dropped him back home. It took him quite some time to look for his damned keys. When he heard the familiar jingle of his keys, playing a soft tune that reminded him of his mom, he unlocked the door to his house, and crashed on the doorstep.
The next morning, he found himself aching everywhere in every parts of his body. He was too lazy to move from his spot and didn’t budge when he heard his stomach growl like a hungry wolf. There were a bunch of dust bunnies he wasn’t able to clean the past few months that he reached out and started playing with them. He looked at his hands and saw how dark it became and how he thought that his house really needed some cleaning. With only that thought in his mind, he finally stood up from the floor and headed to his supplies closet.
When he opened his eyes, he saw Nino having a concerned look on his face. He didn’t remember inviting him in, and he never told him where he lived. “What are you doing here?” He groaned.
“I was trying to call you, you weren’t answering, and you were late for classes, so I came here after I got your address from the head. Anyways, what are you doing here passed out on the floor?!”
“Huh? What are you talking about, I was cleaning.”
“No you weren’t, I came in here with… and we both saw you here. He’s getting something from the kitchen right now.”
Jun wasn’t able to catch the word he said, but he guessed that it must be one of his friends. He didn’t mind if they were in his home unless they were the girls that tried to run after his tail.
“I’ll walk you to your room. He’ll be here shortly. It’s a good thing he’s here because I had something else to do.”
“Hmm…” Jun nodded his head weakly, unable to talk any longer. His stomach was in pain, and the back of his head beating hard like his heart. After his body was safely deposited on his bed, Nino left shortly after and he turned around so his back was facing the door. At the same time he closed his eyes for only a moment, he heard loud footsteps getting closer to his room. It must be Nino’s friend.
The footsteps came nearer and nearer then came to a stop when he just heard it loudly behind him. He heard the sound of sloshing water followed by a loud splash right after.
“Can you stop making those sounds, they are making me even more sick.”
“Sorry,” the person grunted.
“It’s alright.”
The man made a couple of sounds after, but it was quiet but soothing at the same time as he heard the water making small drip-drop sounds. He jerked a little when he felt warm hands on his back letting him know that he should lay on his back. Once he nestled his head in his pillows, a wet and cold, slightly warm rag was placed on his head.
“Thank you for this, Nino’s friend. I think I’ll just go to sleep now…” He told him without opening his eyes. Now that he was on his bed, it was way better than sleeping on that cold, wooden, and dirty floor.
Jun woke up a couple of hours later when he felt his mind was getting clearer. He stretched his arms is the air, but his left arm was being held down by something heavy. Taking a quick glance to his left, he saw a familiar mess of hair popping out of his blankets. He didn’t bring a dog over, and he has never had a dog. Curiously, he grabbed the edge of his blanket and pulled it back till everything was visible.
On his bed, was a man so familiar that he was wishing it wasn’t who he thinks he is. However, the sleeping figure turned his head around and Jun saw who he thinks it was. Terrified, he tried pulling away but his hand was under his body. He didn’t want to wake him up either since he plans on carrying him all the way to his front lawn. While Jun was struggling, the still figure moved again and this time, Jun knew why his arm was unable to move. Like he saw in his memories, back at the preschool a couple of weeks ago, he saw himself as a kid holding onto the boy’s hand as if he was treasure. The man was doing the exact same thing, but this time, he was the one holding him.
Jun stared at him for a while, not moving or even bothering to pull his hand away. Like a hawk, he watched every single move the man made. He watched his eyes roll from one side to another, and laughed when it was half open. As if his hands were magically controlled, he brought his nimble fingers on the man’s face and touched his skin lightly.
“So you really remember me now?” The man spoke up though his eyes were still closed.
Still thinking he was asleep, he answered with a soft yes and continued touching his face.
“I’m not sleeping, you know?”
After hearing that sentence, Jun immediately pulled away and turned around so his back was facing him. He couldn’t explain the feeling in his body rushing everywhere until it made him so dizzy. It almost felt nice, but unpleasant because he couldn’t explain what it was. Then he felt his left hand being played with and he wanted to pull away, run away, and hide forever from embarrassment.
“No, don’t leave,” the man told him as his grip was tightening around his fingers.
“I-I have--”
“Don’t make excuses. You always did that when you were around me.”
“I did?…” And slowly, Jun’s body slowly started to turn around until his eyes were on the man’s face. His eyes weren’t open, but he could tell that he really was awake.
“Yeah. But I hate when you try to be perfect even though I loved the way you were back then. You know, when we were kids getting into mess and you didn’t care about your looks.”
“Perfect? Who said I tried to be perfect?”
“You did. You told me that everything you had to do has to be perfect or else no one will like you.”
“I did?!” Jun exclaimed. “I don’t remember telling you any of that!”
“I did,” then his eyes flew open, “And I still loved you even if you tried to be perfect.”
“Lo--” Jun was suddenly cut off when he tried to say the word ‘love’. He came face to face with him, so close that they shared a very limited space. His breath hitched when he saw the look of want in the man’s eyes, and he gasped when he felt something very light and airy on his lips.
“My…My first kiss…” Jun croaked as he brought his right hand over his lips. It was because he was vulnerable at the moment that his nativity was taken advantage of.
“No it wasn’t. After you feel asleep at the sleep over at preschool, I was awake the whole time and I kind of stole your first kiss already. I wanted dibs.”
“Wha--” Jun didn’t have the chance to argue when he felt the light and airy feeling on his lips again. This time, it started to move and Jun found himself responding in the same way. At the same time, he felt really embarrassed doing this, even after he had finally met him after how many years. But Sho was his friend, his only friend that he realized he had much more feelings for him.
“Sho,” He broke the kiss after thinking about it at the same time, “I…I t-think I love you…”
“Think? You know,” Sho smirked against his lips before catching them again in a pleasant and deep kiss.
Jun never pulled his hands away from Sho’s grip and allowed the latter to push him slowly down the bed. As they kissed, Jun found himself wanting more than just light teasing from him. He used Sho’s left hand as an advantage to drag it down his clothed body. At the moment when he was still starving after missing a whole day and a few hours of eating, his hunger was no longer bothering him as he pulled him closer to his body.
The atmosphere around them was starting to become hot, and his body was wanting more all the same. He pleadingly pushed his body up, letting the latter know how much he wanted this. To his prayers, Sho broke the kiss first and led his lips down his neck. Jun moaned when he felt those plump lips playing, and teasing his sensitive ear. He giggled when he felt his tongue curl around his earlobes and moaned when he felt his tongue making its way lower into his body.
He didn’t notice that his shirt was already taken off before Sho placed gentle kisses on his body. The latter left small traces of hickies on his body, trailing all around his nipples. Jun closed his eyes, letting out a soft moan when he felt Sho’s tongue rolling around his soft nub.
“Ugh…” Jun moaned when he felt Sho’s teeth lightly grazing on his nub. He felt like his head was going to explode because of the man’s teasing. “Please…” he panted, “Touch me more.”
To his wish, the latter brought his lips on his nipple and sucked them like a lollipop. He did the same thing to his other nipple until he felt like his nipples were as hard as iron. Jun bit his lips so hard that he tasted the small amount of blood in his mouth. However that didn’t bother him as he felt Sho’s lips going lower, until his lips were barely above his pelvis.
Jun let go of Sho’s hand and went to work with pulling his pants off of him right away. It was a good thing he was only wearing sweats that he took it all off in one go. He looked away in embarrassment when he saw that his cock was already standing straight. However, he knew Sho didn’t care as he took his left hand again, and he felt his cock being enveloped by his warm mouth.
Jun jerked up when Sho sucked him off even harder than he did with his nipples. He was starting to feel like he was just some candy that Sho had been wanting, but that feeling went away when they met eye to eye. He saw the love in his eyes and he knew that he felt the same way, though he was still so unsure.
He looked away again when he felt like his whole body was going to melt away at every touch and tease the latter did. When he felt like he was coming, Sho let go with a pop and soon, he saw that the man was fully naked. He couldn’t take his eyes off of the perfect body compared to his. He had a little bit of muscles, but otherwise, he was really skim. But that didn’t matter as he watched his rubs his penis, using his right hand, with his saliva.
“I-it’s my first time… Is it going to hurt?” Jun asked him in a soft voice.
“Yeah. Don’t worry, babe, it’s my first time too.”
With Jun losing his virginity like this, to a man he only knew as a kid, he really didn’t care. All he wanted was to be with him, and to be able to feel him too. When he felt like he was ready, Jun nodded his head slowly and Sho pushed in right after.
“Argn…” Jun groaned at the sudden pain he felt.
“I’ll stop! I’m sorry, I should have--”
“No,” Jun tightened his grip on his left hand, “It’s just… I’m… Oh, just fuck me!” Jun yelled when he was unable to keep the excitement in his body anymore. After saying so, Sho looked at him in the eyes, and inserted his penis in until he could fully feel him inside. He moved slowly at first, setting a slow pace that caused an uncomfortable pain around his ass. As the latter kept pushing deeper, Jun realized by then he was moaning instead of groaning in pain. Soon, Sho set a fast pace that he could feel his balls hitting his butt. The sounds of skin slapping against skin enticed his feelings of pleasure and excitement as well as his moans getting louder and louder.
Jun wrapped his legs around his hips to deepen the thrusts and so he could feel him hit that wonderful spot he found earlier. Sho grabbed his dick and started pumping it using his right hand. He felt his balls tightening and he knew he was about to come.
“I’m…coming…” Jun moaned as the latter kept his fast pace going.
“Me too…come with me…” He panted.
After a few more pulls and squeezes, Jun finally released his load on his and Sho’s stomach making a sticky, dirty mess. Sho followed after, releasing inside of him until he was sure he was full of his cum. Jun never let go of Sho’s hand, and held onto it until he fell into another deep sleep.
Jun was never the same, except his looks were still the best of him. All the girls still crowded him, but they all went away as soon as Sho flew by his side. They all stared at them with joy in their eyes as if what they were doing was fan service. But the both of them knew that they were in love, and there was no one to stop that.
“The fuck, Nino. Why the hell are you here? Are you cock blocking?” Jun asked his friend who was sitting comfortably in between the two of them.
“No. I just like being in the middle--”
“Why, you--”
“Babe,” Sho grabbed his fist and settled it back down on his lap. “I’m sure Nino will leave us when he sees Ohno coming in here.”
“Satoshi?! Where?! Where?!” Nino’s head went up at the sound of the artist name. Ever since the three of them accidentally met him, Nino was unable to pry himself off of his side. The couple always spotted them together, eating or just simply talking like old friends. But they knew Nino wasn’t just talking to be friends with him.
“Over there,” Jun pointed towards the opposite direction of where they were sitting. Like a puppy, Nino followed his finger and ran off leaving the two of them all alone again.
“You know that preschool?” Sho asked him after seeing their friend’s back disappear into the wind.
“Yeah, why?”
“I bought it. I’m thinking of running it with you when we’re done with college. Then you can decorate the place with your photos while Ohno can paint for us.”
“What, really?!” Jun asked him, pleased as what he just heard.
“Yeah, really.”
“Well, what are we doing down here then? Didn’t you see the mess! Let’s get started!”
“Alright,” Sho chuckled before standing up along with him. “We’ll get to work. First, I have to make a call to one of my friends, Aiba Masaki.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jun rolled his eyes. “You can do it on the way there.”
“Sure thing, babe.”
With that said, the two headed off to where it all started.
