Mother's Day is a day of celebration for one's parents. It is a day when one must cherish their beloved while their time may last, for no living being, not even I (I would presume), can live forever

During his routine patrol of the City of Gears, Superman was still thinking about his own Mothers. Between that and it being a very quiet night with a seemingly lower crime and-or accident rate, he decided to return to his room early.
But, Oh. Hello. What's this? Someone sitting alone on the roof? It was Rosalina. Who, of course, always was so pleasant towards him as Clark. She had yet to meet Superman.
Well, it was only right to make sure she didn't need assistance.
"Miss? Are you alright?"he asked. His voice strong and confident - so unlike Clark's usual slightly high and uncertain voice.
Rosalina glanced up from her position, a bit taken aback from the unfamiliar voice. The face, however, looked like that of someone she knew, but she couldn't place her finger on who. Who was this man? She was unsure, but the fact that he showed concern for her when he didn't even know her (?) was already very respectable.
"Ah, yes, I believe I will be alright. I normally do stargaze, and I have only been lost in thought," She forced a smile, trying to assure him that she was fine. She didn't want to be a burden anywho.
She wasn't exactly fine, but she would be. She knew she would. She'd just... have to be strong.
"I go by the name Superman, back home. Though, some know me as Kal-El." he replied, flying a little closer, cape billowing behind him. "I'm glad to know that you're alright Miss - It's a very high spot you've chosen to sit and falling from here would be a less than pleasant end to the evening."
And of course, here was the same dillema he always faced. As much as he would like to put on his glasses and say 'Surprise! It's me, Clark. We hang out in the Library. Yeah, this is my other job.' it could never be so. He had to keep the two identities as seperate as possible to protect those very freinds whom he wished to tell so badly.
Superman... This air of confidence around him... This man felt very much familiar. She assumed that it might have only reminded her of Mario, who seemed just as heroic, just in a more simplistic and plumber-like form. Regardless, that was a feeling Rosalina hadn't experienced in a while, and it pleased her. It made her feel a little less tense if she was at all.
"Ah, indeed, yet I stargaze from these heights quite often. I thankfully will be fine. Even if I were to fall from her, I am sure I would be able to float down easily to safety," She informed him. Thankfully, taking advantage of gravity was something she could very mildly do, at least to help herself from some falls.
"My name is Rosalina. It is a pleasure to meet you, Superman." That name... it just rolled right off the tongue.
