I really like grocery shopping. I think I'm pretty good at it, well most of it. I'm not too good in the produce section because when I see a fruit that I want, I start picking good ones right away...before I grab a bag to put them in. So before I know it, I've got my arms full of the best pieces of fruit while awkwardly reaching for a bag. Then one ( Read more... )

Jen my friend, I know exactly what you mean about grocery shopping. The things is, I just had the BEST grocery shopping experience today. I actually figured out EXACTLY what I needed, I got it, I got some extra fun stuff, and I got the hell out. Wandering is fun sometimes too, of course, but I was very proud of my normally disorganized self.

ps: you don't need bags for fruits and veggies really, do you? They come from the dirt! WAR ON WASTE!

Your absolutely right, Jesse. I shouldn't use plastic bags. In fact, I ussually just bring my backpack and stick the fruit in that when nobody's looking.

I know what you mean about dreaming about work. I went through a phase this summer where it happened every night. Last night it kicked in again, for the first time in weeks. I drive a water truck at work, so I kept dreaming that I couldn't stretch the water hose far enough over my own bed to reach the hookup.

I usually only dream about work when I'm stressed about it. Hope you're not too stressed.

ok ok! Just as I hit "submit" or "post"...whatever the button is, I looked at "kitty pool" and realized that it's one of those words that has been wrongly perceived for many years. Kind of like how I thought "church" was actually "turch" (that one was killed off quite some time ago) I was thinking of correcting it, but was too late/lazy. And to think...if I hadn't put "kitty pool" I wouldn't be writing this exciting extra section to my entry. Thanks.
