DAY 1
Just to talk to someone is hard for Yesung; he doesn’t know how to approach a person without making a big show in front of everyone. Although it’s amazing that he has friends in his school. One of his friends is Kyuhyun, the computer games addict. Then there’s Shindong, who’s a food lover, and Leeteuk, who acts like a mom every day. They are really good friends; they help each other, joke around, in other words, they spend their time together, until someone made a bet on Yesung.
“Yesung hyung, I bet you can’t get Ryeowook be your boyfriend,” said Kyuhyun with a big smirk over his face.
“Of course I can’t,” Yesung said before looking for Ryeowook across the school grounds, and when he found Ryeowook, he just stared. “I don’t like him.”
“How can you say that if you were just staring at him right now?” Kyuhyun asked rolling his eyes.
“Listen well to what I’m going to say, I don’t like him.”
“Sure hyung, you’re just lying to yourself because-“
“Yesung, you should just accept that you like Ryeowook and that’s all,” said Shindong interrupting Kyuhyun.
“What I said to Kyuhyun, I don’t like him!”
“Yesung… stop lying, we all know that you stare at him every time he passes in front of you. I don’t want to know what you fantasize about him, but please… you’re so obvious,” Leeteuk said, joining the conversation.
“Okay guys-“
“So you do like Ryeowook!” the 3 of them said in unison.
“I don’t like Ryeowook!” shouted Yesung, probably the whole school heard, including the said person.
“Yesung hyung!” shouted Kyuhyun, “I think Ryeowook is staring at you… with fire in his eyes.”
Yesung sighed and stood up from his seat to leave the cafeteria. Kyuhyun and Shindong did the same just to follow Yesung. Leeteuk sighed and walked towards Ryeowook.
“I’m sorry about… what happened like 2 minutes ago,” Leeteuk said, “I’m sure Yesung doesn’t mean that.”
“I heard well enough to know that he doesn’t like me,” Ryeowook said with annoyed face, “I don’t care what he thinks about me, so excuse me, I have to go.”
“Oh okay,” said Leeteuk before moving aside to let Ryeowook go. Wow, so he’s really upset right now… better make Yesung apologize.

Yesung was walking straight to his locker, but a hand on his shoulder stopped him. He just turned around, and saw that Kyuhyun had a mischievous look.
“Hyung, I want to bet,” said Kyuhyun before showing his new game. Yesung just stared at the game for it was the game he waited to come out a month ago.
“What’s your bet, Kyuhyun?” asked Yesung, rubbing his chin and staring at the game Kyuhyun had in his hands.
“I bet you won’t get Ryeowook be your boyfriend in 5 days.”
“What kind of bet is this?”
“An ordinary bet, hyung. If you win, Ryeowook will be your boyfriend and this game,” Kyuhyun puts the game in front of Yesung’s face, “will be yours.”
“And if I lose?”
“You have to pay me $50.”
“That’s too much! I don’t accept this bet,” said Yesung marching away from Kyuhyun.
“Wait! Don’t you want the game? You waited for a month to come out, and you will let this opportunity to pass? If I were you, I would gladly accept the bet because then… I wouldn’t need to pay $150 just for this game.”
“I accept the bet,” Yesung said turning around to look at Kyuhyun, and giving the hand to show that he really did accept it.
“Good luck, hyung,” said Kyuhyun with a smile on his face, shaking Yesung’s hand.
“When does this bet start?”
“Today, that’s why… good luck.”
Without thinking what to do, Yesung ran back to cafeteria. Behind, Shindong caught up with Kyuhyun and asked if the game really did cost $150. Kyuhyun shook his head and said it cost $25.
“Wow, you’re really good,” Shindong said, laughing.
“I know,” Kyuhyun had his smirk pasted on his face. “I’m evil.”

Leeteuk was about to open his locker when Yesung came to him and asked if he saw Ryeowook in the cafeteria.
“He’s not in the cafeteria,” Leeteuk said, “I went to apologize to him for you.”
“What did he say?”
“He was pretty upset; I think YOU should go apologize.”
“Well, thanks hyung, see you later.”

When Yesung stepped inside the cafeteria, everyone had their eyes glued on Yesung.
“Hey! Why did you say that about Ryeowook hyung!” a guy with hamsters-like-cheeks. “You’re a really bad person!”
“I know that I’m a bad person. By the way, do you know where he is right now?”
“Why would I tell you that when you hurt Ryeowook hyung’s feelings,” the guy puffed his cheeks.
“So he’s affected of what I said about him…”
“Don’t start thinking that he likes you! Of course anyone would feel bad for knowing that!”
“Hey… what’s your name?” Yesung asked, now irritated.
“Henry, you better make peace with Ryeowook hyung!”
“I got it! Bye hamster!” Yesung dashed out of the cafeteria and ran almost everywhere around the school.
“Hey, come back! Y-You evil person!” shouted Henry but Yesung was out of the sight.

At the end of the day, everyone went straight to their lockers to get out their homeworks and other books. Just when Yesung closed his locker, he caught a glimpse of Ryeowook walking straight to the school gates. He ran through the crowd, listening some swear words from other students.
“Ryeowook! Ryeowook!” Yesung shouted repeatedly.
Ryeowook stopped walking and turned around just in time to be in front of Yesung. Yesung was simply lost of words; he never saw Ryeowook that close until right now that they met face to face. Ryeowook’s face was beautiful.
“What do you want, Mr. Meany,” asked Ryeowook with angry tone.
“Um, want to walk home with me?” Yesung asked, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand.
“Why? Didn’t you say that you didn’t like me?”
“In reality, I do like you!”
“Well, that won’t change anything,” Ryeowook said before walking ahead of Yesung.
“Wait!” Yesung ran in front of Ryeowook and stopped him by putting his hands on Ryeowook’s shoulders.
“What now!? I don’t have time to listen to your stupid excuses!” Ryeowook pushed Yesung aside and kept walking ahead.
Yesung again ran ahead of Ryeowook and this time, he stopped the man by pushing him against a wall that separated the school and the main street.
“Be my boyfriend,” Yesung said, with determination.
“… What the hell?” Ryeowook pushed Yesung and ran towards his home.
“Oh crap… now he will think that I’m out of my mind…” Yesung murmurs alone.
“Good job, hyung,” Kyuhyun said startling the other man. “You just got like 40% of probability of getting Ryeowook be your boyfriend.”
Yesung, with a sad look, went back home and let out a loud sigh. He just thought that he shouldn’t have accepted the bet. But then, when he remembered about the game and the cost of it, he decided to stay on the bet.
With that, the first day was just a total mess for Yesung.
