“I don’t know how to say this…” he said blushing, “I love you hyung, I want you by my side…”
When I heard him say those beautiful words, I just gave him my best smile. I knew that he was going to tell me that sooner or later. Also, thanks to that random girl that kept asking him a lot of questions, it gave me lots of hope.
“Hyung, would you be my boyfriend?” he asked me shyly.
“Kyu… I love you,” I said with a smile.
“Does that mean yes?” he asked with happiness.
I just nodded and hugged him tightly, not letting him move an inch apart from me. After 1 minute of silence, I felt a pair of hands lift my face from his chest. Kyu’s hands were warm and soft; both of them pulled my face closer to his. He leaned in and pressed his lips on mine. All I could think of was: his lips are really soft.
He pulled away and gave me his beautiful smile that makes me melt inside. Later, he intertwined our fingers and stared at me with an intense gaze that I never knew he had.
“What’s wrong Kyu?” I asked staring directly to his eyes.
“Nothing… it’s just that… it’s getting late, and we have to leave. Then you’ll have to leave, and we won’t see each other until Monday, which it’s too much for me.”
“Aww Kyu, come on. If you want, let’s meet each other tomorrow at the park that’s near my house in the afternoon.”
“I don’t know your house… I’ll accompany you to your house!”
“Thanks Kyu.” I blushed, “I’m glad that I have a great boyfriend.”
It was Kyu’s turn to blush. I pinched his cheeks, and then kissed them. Kyu put his arms around my waist and pulled my head to his chest. I could hear his heart beat.
“If you listen to my heart beat, that’s because I’m alive… thanks to you.”
“Kyu… everyone’s alive.” I giggled
“If you weren’t in my world, which means in my mind and soul, I wouldn’t be alive completely. Maybe I would be doing the same routine of everyday. Those routines as go to school, eat lunch by myself, go to P.E. and wonder why I have an extra t-shirt, or just care less about relationships. I really love you hyung, even though I refused to admit it when you talked to me on that special day.”
I heard his heart beat faster.
“My heart beat faster because of you, you make me really happy, overwhelm me with happiness.”
I didn’t have any words to say, apart from I love you or Kyu, you’re so funny. Everything that I wanted to tell him was not worth compared to his words. Speechless. I stared at his beautiful face and place my hands around his neck; he noticed what I was trying to do, so he just leaned in and kissed me on my lips. The kiss lasted for 3 minutes, and we pulled apart just to take some air. When we’re going to kiss again, the Ferris wheel stopped. I stood up to see what was happening, and realized that we were at the top of others, getting the whole view of the town, lights on everywhere.
“Kyu… if I could give this to you” I said as I pointed to the city, “I would obviously give it to you, maybe the whole world.”
“And I would share the world with you.” He said hugging me behind, his arms around my waist and his chin on my right shoulder. “The city’s beautiful.”
After Kyu spoke, the Ferris wheel moved again. This time, Kyu spun me around and kiss me on my lips harder. Oh my, he’s a good kisser, I thought. We were still kissing when the door opened and appeared another couple. I was so shocked to see who they were; I even pushed Kyu softly just to verify if my eyes were not lying. Leeteuk hyung stared us with wide eyes, followed by Kangin.
“S-Sungmin!? So he’s the one you had troubles with all the things about rejection and stuff!” he shouted excitedly.
“Hyung, I’ll explain this to you later. Bye bye~” I said dragging Kyu off the Ferris wheel. “Have fun hyung!”
As I dragged Kyu away from the Ferris wheel, we saw Donghae and Eunhyuk eating their cotton candy. They noticed our presence and waved to us. Then, they came closer to us.
“What are you guys doing so late?” asked Donghae with his little piece of cotton candy on his hand.
“Well, what are you guys doing late too?” I asked Donghae with curiosity.
“To have fun duh,” Donghae said sticking his tongue out.
“With Eunhyuk? Interesting.”
“He’s my best friend, what about Kyuhyun?”
“He’s my boyfriend, I love him a lot!”
“Oh! I didn’t know that…”
“Now, you explain me… is Eunhyuk your boyfriend or not?” I asked teasing him.
“He is my boyfriend!”
“Finally you answer me with honesty. I knew something was going on between you guys.”
“Umm Sungmin hyung, let’s go home, it’s getting late.” Said kyu, interrupting our conversation.
“Oh yes Kyu, let’s go.” I said and we left the couple alone.
On our way back home or I should say, my home, Kyu had intertwined our fingers the whole time. We were talking random things like: games, music, even something that didn’t make sense. He told me that his nickname was gameKyu, because he was addicted to games that he wouldn’t sleep at all. Later, he became princeKyu for being such a hottie and gentleman at everyone. The rest, I don’t remember, but he did have lots of nicknames. Afterwards, he sang me a song; I never imagined Kyu could sing so beautiful, so graceful. He sang me “A Whole New World,” my favorite song from Disney. Later, we passed the park that I was talking about in the Ferris wheel.
“Let’s meet there tomorrow, if you want.” I said blushing.
“Of course I want to!” said Kyu with excitement.
After that, we reached a street which was completely dark. I’m always afraid to pass this street at night because it’s too dark, no lamps nor houses with lights on. I put my arms around Kyu’s right arm tightly. I guess he knew that I was scared because he whispered me words as: everything’s going to be fine. As if everything was going to be fine, something passed in front of us, and I screamed at the top of my lungs. Kyu patted my back with the hugged arm and caressed my cheek with his free hand.
“It’s okay hyung, it was just a cat.”
“Ok, let’s get out of this street quickly as possible.” I said, releasing his arm and hugging him around his waist.
We ran fast as we could, until we could see my house. I was glad that my mom always put the lights on at night.
“I guess here’s your house, it’s really big.” Kyu said staring at my house.
“It’s not that big, in fact, it’s too small that I can’t have a dog inside.” I said giggling.
“Well, this house is big for me.” Kyu said, now staring at me.
“Yeah… well Kyu… I had fun.” I smiled. “I hope we can do that again sometime.” I kissed him on the lips.
“I hope that too, I really loved this day!” he said almost shouting.
“You know what, maybe you should stay here. It’s too late, and you know there are many dangerous people roaming around the corner.” I said eyeing the place
“Thanks Sungming hyung, I mean, my love.”
I blushed and hugged him again. Opened the door and dragged Kyu inside. We went to my room and as soon as we saw my bed, we just jumped on the bed and slept. Kyu pulled me closer to his body and hugged me.
