July 29, 2019 Martin Scorsese's latest white man-fest “The Irishman” will have its world premiere right in NYC, its production locale - at this year's New York Film Festival on September 27, and will also open the fest at Lincoln Center.
The epic movie reunites Robert De Niro in the title role with Al Pacino as Jimmy Hoffa and Joe Pesci as Russell Bufalino. The Netflix movie will be released sometime this fall for a huge awards season campaign (which includes limited theatrical run).
“The Irishman” is rumored to have an alarming $200M budget (which ballooned after its original $140M budget last year).
