Wilson's former partner Varunie Vonsvirates,35, gave birth to Lyla in October 2018.
He "helps financially" with the little girl's upbringing, but he is "not involved at all" in her life.
She casually dated Owen for five years before they split.
Owen, 50, already has 2 sons Ford, eight, and Finn, five.
The actor had "checked the no visitation box" on court documents and didn't want "any custody" of Lyla.
When Varonie was pregnant, Owen offered to take a paternity test and had pledged to be a supportive father if the baby turned out to be his.
