*My future husband (this is a joke btw I didn’t think anyone thought I was actually serious about that!) and ONTD's favorite woody perennial plant actress sat down with Variety to discuss their past work with Marvel and their current projects.

*Scarjo worked with Marriage Story director Noah Baumbach about 10 years ago in the early stages on a film that didn't work out, and she was surprised when he called her up after all that time to discuss Marriage Story.

*When she signed on to the film, there was nothing on the page yet, just an idea of what the film would be.

*Talking to Noah about Marriage Story/looking forward to that helped her get through the tedious times of shooting Infinity War and Endgame.

*Cevans likes the idea of writer/director combos like Rian Johnson, because you only get one opinion of what is expected, whereas a writer might have one opinion about what they want an actor to do with a script and a director might have another.

*Cevans needs a few days on set to ask for more than two takes, because if he asks for more takes early on and still isn't hitting it by then, he thinks it's harder for him to ask for more takes in the future. But if you give him 50 takes he will use them all.

*They discuss Scorsese's take on the MCU--Cevans likens it to a chicken/egg scenario "Did audiences only start going to lowbrow stuff, so that’s what we started making? Or is it that we made it first, and now that’s all we’re offered?" Scarjo feels its more a case of people feeling smaller films are being pushed out by blockbusters.

*Cevans is going through his usual "I'm done with acting/films" phase that he goes through every so often, but he's drawn a bit more to the freedom creators are given with TV shows right now. He wants to direct, but he says he doesn't have the courage or focus to write a script.

*They discuss the first time they met, Scarjo was impressed with how photogenic Chris was, and he came alive on screen.

*Would Chris come back to Cap? He loves the character, but he doesn't know. He thinks if they brought Cap back it would be a cash grab and he doesn't want that for the character because he's very protective of him.

There is a video at the source that has the whole interview including some stuff they didn't talk about in the article I think.
