Tom Petty's Daughter Shows Support for Riley Keough in Graceland Foreclosure Fight

Music legend Tom Petty's daughter Adria (music video director who has worked with Beyonce, Coldplay, Regina Spektor and Kings of Leon) publicly showed support for Riley Keough before her legal fight on Wednesday to stop Graceland from being put up for auction on Thursday (Riley owns the mansion via inheritance and her mother, brother and grandfather are all buried there).
She also discussed musicians' rights and how musicians and their heirs are taken advantage of by vultures looking for a payday.

Poor girl, lost her mother and her brother. And I’m sure the last thing she thought could happen is that someone could steal Graceland, where her family is buried!
No one would believe the dirty things people try to do to steal these legacies from the descendants of your favorite musicians. Look at Mj and Prince. Jackson’s kids don’t even get to decide if someone sells 1/2 of their assets on their behalf before they inherit - assets that only increase in value ? Why you might ask? Trustee percentage.
We had a very similar attack recently and have pretty much had nonstop attempts at theft for physical items and intellectual property each year since right after dad died. The attempts at extortion have been nonstop. We are one of the very few families that own and manage the estate as the artist envisioned. And we treasure it. And we have successfully protected it.
Sometimes the ones who attempt stealing are famous Titans of the music industry who want to illegally buy our control publishing. These same people claim to be artist advocates. They win awards and take pictures next to the mayor. One even said to Billboard “you don’t want to end up like the petty girls”. Trying to use our tragic story of losing our father as a sales tool misrepresenting how successful and victorious our ownership has been. Girls, When we are all over 40 years old and grown ass women. Sometimes its been our father’s “friends”.
Other times i see people preying on the mentally ill and drug addicted members of a music family. These people, who cripple, whole important legacies of music and keep the music hidden in flux for decades just so people can steal money from those families year after year, in legal, management and accounting fees.. I’m so tired of it. I’ve spoken to so many families in this position. It is beginning to become an epidemic. America…now famous for it’s “catch me if you can”justice system.
To do this to the Presley family is disgusting. Unless we strengthen accountability in this country, nothing we own is gonna matter anymore. If you are in a music family and someone is trying to bully or steal your assets feel free to DM me. I will help you if I can.
According to the Daily Memphian, "Graceland might have been used by Lisa Marie Presley as collateral for a loan, but there’s no deed of trust on file locally identifying the property as such." The notary noted for the loan also said via affidavit she never met Lisa Marie or notarized any documents. NY Mag has deduced that this is very likely deed theft.
Riley's lawyers will face off against that shady "company" tomorrow morning for an injunction hearing in Memphis. According to the NY Post, Riley is "traumatized" by this threat of foreclosure.
