In "wait, did I know this was happening?" news, MEOVV released a slate of videos over the past few days in support of their second single, "TOXIC". Here is the beautifully-shot MV for "TOXIC".

I actually think Toxic is kinda cool but holy shit two of the members sound so bad it damn near ruins the song for me 😭 the model kid and Sooin have some truly hideous vocal moments in this song, that pre-chorus is ROUGH even with all the pitch correction in the world. Narin and Gawon sound really good so it's a sharp contrast hearing them followed up by those two.

I cannot speak on Body because it embodies pm all of my most hated kpop gg tropes lol.

I agree on Sooin (she's weaker than I thought based on their first song) but I prefer Ella to Narin on the pre-chorus. At least she's a bit less nasal.

Gawon has a really beautiful voice.

Way better than their debut, which was so forgettable I can't even think of it right now. I prefer Toxic over Body, but really close, honestly.

I wanna give them a chance so bad but they're just not there yet imo. I miss the time when kpop had at least that one power vocal in the team... right now it's just great faces, beautiful faces.
