i watched the first episode up until boys started dancing on the beach, then i checked out, i was scared of second-hand embarrassment anyway, in what world do women prefer Joshua over Sean? i was taken aback by how the show portrays him maybe it is a fantasy after all
maybe she's not as vain as me and attracted more to his personality i was talking more about the ladies on the beach, i would be so focused on Tristan that i wouldn't even notice Max was there
IDK, maybe they heard Max was a doctor and Tristan a nurse and were eyeing wallets and not looks? LOL idk (although given Tristan's family is very wealthy, he probably has more money in the end, who knows).
March is so obscenely far away. Was this meant to be a FINALE finale or a mid-season one? The episode easily had the worse writing and editing so far. I'm not mad about the ducks, I actually found it in-line with what the show has been giving us, but the whole pregnancy storyline feels like a punishment and it's wayyyyyy too soon for a serious storyline like this. Why can't we have more wacky eps and slowly get introduced to more and more of the crew. This should be an ensemble show with Avery, Tristan, and Max driving the season forward.
Well, they filmed episode 9 already at least, so who knows. I can't remember if this was given a full season to begin with or a partial season and a pickup at some point. Nobody also seems to know exactly how many episodes are in season 1 because I've seen 13 and 18 in different places. But it's not a good sign when people are on Reddit asking if the episodes were aired out of order or re-edited at some point after production to move scenes around, because plot points being dropped mid-episode, characters disappearing randomly (Vivian, the friends, etc), just nonsensical stuff, etc. Did nobody win the $5,000 golden duck reward?! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GIANT ASS DUCK FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE EPISODE?! Why would Tristan be confiding in Vivian his personal stuff when he was just basically confessing his love to Avery last episode? Episode 8 was, to be honest, real fucking boring. Does Tristan secretly have kids? Did Tristan die of Huntington's at some point? I've had that thought if his mother's very brief visit was her visiting her dead
( ... )
I'm really hoping we're not giving the show more credit than it deserves, lol. But I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering if the episodes were not aired in order and got edited to hide the shuffling. If we're hopping on this conspiracy train, the only reason I can think of for them to do this on a penultimate and final episode is if there were more footages of the threesome that the network decided to cut at the last minute, which means they have far too much airtime they needed to fill so they mashed in an earlier episode to fill the time but obviously couldn't fit everything in.
Your theory about the Captain being God is making me think of Miracle Workers season 1 (which you should watch tbqh; it's really cute and sweet and wholesome, and Daniel Radcliffe is great).
I haven't watched Miracle Workers because the creator of that show is married to someone who psycho stalked a book blogger I knew when I still blogged - went to her house, called her work, etc - trying to prove she was being catfished after she got a RIGHTFUL one star review for her terrible YA book, and his father (who was an EP for Succession, among other HBO shows) gave her a platform on The Guardian (and eventually that led to a book deal) to talk about how she was the victim of a bad review and how that led to her wanting to find the truth about the blogger. I know the show has since been canceled, but I don't want to support those people LOL.
This show is such fun trash. Highly unbelievable like having a CT scanner in their medical facility or constantly finding patients in hallways while wearing full eveningwear. I will persevere.

Ngl even my parents liked the gay episode but “John Stamos cannot play gay” was their takeaway.

I like how Full House exists in the same universe, because John Stamos apparently wasn't in it? Or he has a gay lookalike in a throuple? LOL.

We are hopeful our two wishes will be met soon!
1.) Official Main Character Throuple (and everyone loves everyone else in said throuple, not just Avery)
2.) They reveal there is indeed a twist that makes the lack of making sense actually make sense.
