WHAT?!?! Teach me your ways Janet! How are you bending those knees and moving that fast? I'm in my mid thirties and can can't do this shit.

Am I gonna drag her forever for continuing to work with her ain't shit MAGA brother Randy? Yes. Am I annoyed that she had the good sense to shut the fuck up after her Harris snafu, denying me the messy ability to make a sequel to my ridiculous post? Yes. Does this residency look as amazing as she does? Yes, yes it does. There's no two ways about it, the constant touring has not only got her looking unbelievable, even by her standards, but it's got her dancing back to the point where she's mopping the floor with people half her age. Gil is killing it with the creative direction, the choreo is looking SHARP, the setlist is ENORMOUS and filled with gems for the casual and hardcore fan, and she finally remembered that she was the queen of the wonderbra aka those tits are back out and proud like its 2001. This show looks weellllll worth the money. I'm interested in how long the show is though because that's a shit ton of songs... like is it one big ass medley? Are we getting three bars of each song? I'm pleased to hear she's doing deep ( ... )

I still struggle with both my appreciation of her and her legacy as well as the discrimination she openly lobbed towards Vice President Harris on the other end... Like she's undoubtedly one of my faves, I was lucky to see her live pre-pandemic, but I still have some bitterness about how she handled the situation.

Exactly. I feel the same way. I'm appreciative but also a bit bitter. It's pretty much impossible to get past what she said and I don't think we should, frankly. I too am happy I saw her before she exposed her shortcomings. I don't think I'd have as much fun now even though artistically, I'm sure I'd be impressed. I'm at the point with it where I'll listen to some of her music now, which I've loved my whole life, but I can't help but side-eye her as I do it. Some of the albums actually almost make it worse, because I sit there going "The woman that wrote the brilliance that is The Velvet Rope actually said that gross ass shit?"

She's still amazing, there's no way around that, but now there's an aftertaste I can't get rid of.

I hated what she said about VP Kamala Harris. How could she be that out of touch?

I was watching Britney's Dream Within a Dream the other night and Britney really is Janet's baby.

It still boggles the mind that anyone thought she was Madonna's protege when she was CLEARLY Janet's.
