Her performance is okay but a lot of her line delivery in the more serious moments comes off as "I'm trying very hard to do this right." Idk, a lot of it was unnatural, especially stacked against a cast of veteran/seasoned actors. The difference in performance was really obvious.. She definitely is trying her best but the issue is you can TELL she's trying. It's a huge leap up from her prior work but she still has a ways to go. I commend her obvious effort though.
she was good, but it doesn't seem like the character she played is a stretch in terms of what she can do? idk if that sounds bitchy but I think she just got lucky with a role for her abilities.
that said the film is a masterpiece, I saw it last night and was petrified

Or more like the OP is cherrypicking statements completely taken out of context as per usual. She's also referring to how she felt as a child watching this movie, because people were mean to his character in Scissorhands. Come on, now.

I guess this person just selectively read what was posted here then, so that's on me; I'm just used to this OP and the other posting ragebait and then when you go to the source and read it's a whole different story.
I almost laughed at “it’s a difficult childhood memory” but honestly it’s HER past and it actually happened to her so it’s really just me not being able to relate!
when I think of a difficult childhood memory I think of my dad showing me the gene Simmons KISS vinyl cover when I was really young, and I had nightmares for weeks.,,,, not getting upset bc ppl were mean to my dad in a FILM
