I think I’m normally pretty switched on about these things, but this is literally the first time I’ve even heard about this.

I feel this way a lot with recent shows, it's like there isn't enough marketing behind them, there were some good ones that got cancelled (rip "My Lady Jane") just because not enough people have heard about them, even though the shows were objectively good.

That's a pretty good cast + Armando Iannucci so I wonder what happened. I'm a Daniel Bruhl fan and tend to follow his work and this is the first time I remember hearing about this lol - I'm thinking it wasn't that good?

Imo it simply was not funny. They got a cast of incredible comedy actors and neglected to write any jokes for them.

Something about the premise didn't sound funny so I didn't bother to watch. It sounded like it would be try-hard kind of funny.
