Linda Cardenelli (Lindsay Weir) had minor roles in Legally Blonde and Brokeback Mountain. Her most notable roles include Velma in the two “Scooby Doo” films on the big screen and as Nurse Samantha Taggart in “ER”. She will be appearing in an upcoming film called “The Heaven Project” as well as a mini-series titled “Comanche Moon”. She also dated F&G co-star Jason Segel in real life, and it is rumoured that his upcoming film, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” is based on their break-up.
James Franco (Daniel Desario) won a Golden Globe in 2002 for his performance in the TV movie, “James Dean”. He auditioned for the role of Spiderman/Peter Parker, but was cast as Harry Osbourne for the three “Spiderman” films. Not only has he appeared in films such as “City By The Sea” and “Tristan & Isolde” among his film credits, but he has been writing, producing, and directing his own films. He founded his own production company, Rabbit Bandini Productions. He made a cameo appearance in “Knocked Up” alongside some of his fellow F&G alumini, and will be co-starring with Seth Rogen in the 2008 action-comedy “Pineapple Express”, where he plays a drug dealer named Saul.
Seth Rogen (Ken Miller) starred in Judd Apatow’s follow-up “Undeclared”, and also wrote for the show. He also had minor roles in movies such as “Donnie Darko” and “Anchorman”. He starred in 2007’s break-through comedy, “Knocked Up”, and also had the opportunity to film “Superbad”- a script that he and his partner Evan Goldberg had started writing when they were just 13 years old. Seth was given the opportunity to host SNL this year, and he has a number of upcoming films, including the action-comedy “Pineapple Express” with his F&G co-star James Franco.
Busy Philipps (Kim Kelly) also made an appearance on “Undeclared”, as well as “Life As We Know It”, “ER”, and “How I Met Your Mother”. Interestingly enough, many of her F&G co-stars have also made appearances on the noted shows. She played Audrey Lidell in “Dawson’s Creek” and can be seen in the upcoming film “Made of Honor” which is slated to be released in May 2008.
Jason Segel (Nick Andopolis) starred in Judd Apatow’s follow-up “Undeclared”, and also made an appearance in “Knocked Up”. His other screen credits include appearances on “Alias” and “CSI”. Most notably, he plays Marshall Eriksen on “How I Met Your Mother”. Jason wrote and will be starring in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, a romantic comedy which is slated for release in May 2008.
The Geeks:
John Francis Daley (Sam Weir) had regular roles in “Boston Public”, “The Geena Davis Show”, “Regular Joe”, and “Kitchen Confidential”. On the big screen, John appeared alongside Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris in “Waiting”. John will be resuming a regular role on “Bones” as Dr. Lance Sweets. When he isn’t acting, he plays in a band called Dayplayer (myspace.com/dayplayer).
Martin Starr (Bill Haverchuk) made appearances on “Roswell” as well as Apatow’s follow-up, “Undeclared”. He played one of Seth Rogen’s friends in “Knocked Up” and also appeared in “Superbad”. Martin can be seen in the upcoming films “Adventureland” and “Good Dick”.
Samm Levine (Neil Schweiber) made a variety of appearances on television and film, including “Undeclared”, “Boston Public”, “What I Like About You”, “Life As We Know It”, “That’s So Raven”, and “Veronica Mars”. He recently appeared alongside Amanda in an updated Snow White story in the movie “Sydney White”. He can be seen in the upcoming film “Made For Each Other”.
The Cheerleaders, Etc.:
Natasha Melnick (Cindy Saunders) appeared in Judd Apatow’s follow-up show “Undeclared” which was short-lived like its predecessor. Natasha has also appeared in “Do Over”, “Life As We Know It”, and “Boston Public” while providing the voices for characters in “King of the Hill”, “American Dad”, and “Family Guy”. She will be appearing in the films “Everything or Nothing” and “God Thinks You’re a Loser.”
Joanna Garcia (Vicki Appleby) appeared on “Family Guy” and “What I Like About You”. She had minor roles in the teen movies “American Pie 2” and “Not Another Teen Movie”. Her most notable role to date was Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery in “Reba”.
Shia Labeouf (Hebert) made a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it as an injured school mascot. He went on to star in the Disney Channel series, “Even Stevens”. He starred in “Disturbia”, as well as the summer blockbuster “Transformers”, and will be appearing in the new India Jones instalment as well as in “Eagle Eye”.
Rashida Jones (Karen Scarfolli) had recurring roles on "Boston Public", "NY-LON", and "Wanted". More recently, she joined the cast of "The Office" in its third season as Karen Fillipeni. She will be appearing in the upcoming film adaptation of "Brief Interviews With Hideous Men", directed by her "Office" co-star, John Krasinski.
Lizzie Caplan (Sara) made appearances on "Smallville", "The Class", "Tru Calling", "Related", and "The Class". She starred alongside Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams in the 2004 movie, "Mean Girls" as Janis Ian. She will be appearing in the upcoming films "Crossing Over", "Cloverfield", and "My Best Friend's Girl".
Ben Foster (Eli) appeared on several television shows such as "Boston Public", "Six Feet Under", and "My Name is Earl". His film credits include "Get Over It", "Hostage", "X-Men: The Last Stand", "Alpha Dog", and "3:10 to Yuma". He will be appearing in the upcoming film, "Birds of America".
